Separation Anxiety!!! Not the animals, but me!!

So I'm going on a school trip this week. My boyfriend took my dogs to his place for the week. My house is so quiet and lifeless!! I believe I am experiencing separation anxiety!! Now, my pups are fine because they love to travel. I won't see them again for another four days. This is the longest I've been away from them... I now understand why people seek prescriptions to keep their animals (yes, it's true). If your landlord doesn't allow animals, and you can prove that having an animal is a medical benefit (i.e. lower blood pressure, etc.) then you can have your pet. Do you experience separation anxiety for your pets??

some apartments will eventually let u keep ur pets if they charge u extra from them, like your dependents or roommates. maybe suggest that to your landlord. ask him or her if she/he would allow u to keep them for additional reasonable pay.
suggest around $50 to $100 per pet added to the rent. they are a responsibility and a part of the household.

My social life is almost zero because my pet pines when I am not around. She followos me wherever I go, be it to where my pc is, the garden, the kitchen, our bed, anywhere and she will be there. We are almost inseparable. When we lost our earlier dogs of old age it was terrible to face that loss.

Yes, I rarely go on vacation, and only twice have I gone and didn't take the animals (dogs) with me..
I don't worry about the cats as much as the dogs..
I last went about 5 years ago and I had roommates at home to take care of the dogs but I was worried about them the whole time I was away. I kept calling home to check on them and I was Happy yet Sad to hear that they also missed me.. Even though in the same environment (no kennel) they refused to eat for 2 days.. even the new dog I had only had for 6 months. They finally got hungry enough to eat o the 3rd day and I was able to relax a little, but I missed them terribly.
