Generally speaking, a man always like a beautiful woman. The more beautiful she is, the better he likes her. But what about a woman to a man? What kind of man does a woman like generally? the strong one? the tall one? the good looking one?...

I can not speak for all women, but I myself likes a man who will stay up in the weee hours of the morning helping me finish my accounting work. A man who is not afraid to watch a sappy love story with me . A man who will go to the kitchen and cook dinner when I am trying to make a deadline........a man who will wrap his arms around me when I am scared ........ A man who will hold me when I am crying ....a man who calls me in the middle of his busy work day just to tell me he loves me ....
I just described the man I am in love with ......................and he is laying right beside me .....

What you mean is a man who can help you when you need, and who can give you a spiritual console in love. I know a man, he has all the vertues you list, but he is abandoned by his wife,because he can not earn too much money to support her high daily expense. The woman now is a lover of a rich man, but the rich man has many lovers.

If this is true, then the wife is the failure in the marriage not the husband . When you give yourself to a person in a relationship or marriage you are telling that person that you give yourself to them unconditionally . That means for richer or for poorer...........by going outside the marriage she has failed herself and her husband ..... she is the one who loses out in the end . Where will she go when the rich guy is tired of her and moves onto the next trinket ? She will try ot come back to the husband and be the perfect wife again until the next rich guy comes along ....... Sounds like to me your friend needs to find him a woman who will love him for him and not for his posessions.......

So this goes back to the old saying that "Money cannot by love"...... There are alot of old sayings that could cover this scenario. I say the ex-husband who came to her rescue wheb she was ill, is showing true unconditional love. Even though she hurt him terribly he was still there in her time of need. True love doesn't get any cleare than that.
