I think wearing slippers at the office is VERY unprofessional. I think if you want to be taken seriously, you should dress accordingly.

Yes, when i was still working in my former office, me and my colleagues are allowed by our boss to wear sandals in our office. Only when the big boss is around, then we are not allowed to wear slippers or even sandals in the office. I ever had a sore feet due to wearing the high heels, whole day at work. Now, i do wear sandals at home, when i switch on the air-cond. If i didn't switch on the air-cond, then i prefer not to wear any sandals because it makes my feet feels very warm.

I use to wear slippers when im in office when my boss is out of town. because i walk a long way going to our office. but whenever our boss are in.. we are not allowed to do so we keep our slippers at our cabinet. lol

Much that I want to, we are forbidden to wear slippers in the office. We might get reprimanded up to the point of termination of we disobey the rules. We can wear flip-flops on the way to the office but on the office floors, definitely it's shoes or else!

yes! i changed to slippers the minute i get in the office. It makes me comfortable and fell like i am at home. My job is always sitting, and thanks to my table, it allows me to hide my feet so nobody from outside can see my feet. My visitors never knew the one they were talking business to, was wearing her comfortable slippers. :-)

I do have a pair of crocs slip-ons in my office. I wear it during our lunch break, when the office is closed, which is from 12 noon to 2pm. For some reason, I do not like being caught wearing slippers by our clients. I am a little conservative when it comes to proper office attire. Have a nice day!

well, it depend on the situation. if there is a meeting then i have no choice. i depend on wheather as well, slipper on raining day is for sure. other than that, it depend on my mood.
