I always believe in this statement. Failing in our home is a big disaster. Our family is always the reason why we work so hard in life, in our career, in everything, isn't it? It is in the home where we share our successes. It is our family that lifts us up from our downfalls.

Hi joetag, I agree with the statement. No matter how successful one is at his career, if he doesn't succeed at home, he is still a failure. I always believe that you got to earn your respect in your home first, before you can even earn respect from the outside world. I treasure my family, and would do everything I can to make my home a warm and loving place to live in.

Success in the home is the basic foundation for other successes to be achieved. Why is it so? ..... I don't know ..... what I mean is I just can't explain in plain words.

Yes i agree with you.Our home , our family is the very foundation of our being. It is from there that all other things in our life flow from. It is the source of our strength, and aspirations. And it can be a stumbling block in our struggle to be successful in our career.

While it is true that the family, the home can be a stumbling block in one's struggle to be successful in one's career, or even vice-versa, it is also possible and probable that one can also be successful in both the home and career.

But society thinks differently.Has there been a competition ever organised for the best housewife? Think again. Every one is hankering for name and fame in other spheres but no one bothers to excel in their ability to manage a home. A housewife is never even noticed but if there is recognition, public recognition then may be people will start looking in that direction.

Ya, it depends really on the priority of the person. Sometimes, if not all the time, the family or the home is just taken for granted. Some raise their own family for the sake of image-building.
