Who said this, n give bad name to us woman ..
not many woman selects diamond right ? some may like gold, silver, jade ..
diamonds compared to love : maybe that one woman who never found the tru meaning of love and has no patience assumed all man to be unkind ... and said "diamonds r forever" ~ or was the song written by man ...??
for me, diamond does not warm my bed at cold night, diamond does not hold me tight in time of need, diamond doesnot cry when i am in pain, diamond does not laugh at my stupid jokes
come on woman back me up here ..

Well, Sanjana, I do not know about you, but the time I got my wife a diamond ring, she was very very happy. I do not know, why woman are so crazy about that cold stone.Of course as a Tamilian, you will know the love our woman have for a diamond ear stud. A few years back, it was a status symbol to have a diamond ear stud, but today it has become common, and the woman want Diamond Bangles.

i have diamond ring and nose stud ~ but i scolded my husband for buying it because the reselling value is lower and the gold is not 916 but lower in gold

Sanjana all said and done you are never going to dispose of your diamond ring as well as nose stud.It will be your gift, some thing like heirloom to be given to your children.We Tamilians never sell a diamond. We might sell the gold and silver or anything else, but will never sell a diamond.
Finally, as soon as you get your baby, the same Sanjana will be buying a lot of diamond jewelery to the baby.

my diamond ring was bought by my lover 10 year ago, after becoming husband he bought the diamond nose stud 2 years back, last month he bought me the red stone because he can sing "siggapu kallu mukuthi" for me

i'm a woman who don't like diamonds. not only don't like diamonds, i don't like to wear anythings include gold. i find it very uncomfortable with all that things around my hands or neck

hi janice, i used to be like that until i got married ~ in our cultre married woman have to wear gold, we are considered as "person to welcome fortune" for the family.
i used to love white gold but there was no reselling value
