You'll need microsoft office programmes. Then correl draw. Avira is a free anti virus that is also really good for your p.computer. You might need recent flash players too cos it'll help alot for surfing the net. Then adobe reader for viewing some write ups that you might download online. You can get alot more. A computer is very dependent of your need. That means that a computer configuration adjusts your requirements. So before generating your computer configuration, you need to qualify what is your requirement for that computer.
And this including the software for your personal computer. Because software run on hardware, hardware also qualify what your computer looks like. Normally, for general purposes, you'll need a Operating System. For operating system, you could choose windows. Windows seven is launched, but you can still install windows vista.
Then, you will almost need office program too, so you might want to look at microsoft office.
For other alternatives, you should see Linux for operating system, and OpenOffice for office program. Both linux and openoffice are free to use.
