The lion king movie is an encouraging story that tells the viewer that inspite of your dreadful past you can start all over again. You must not dwell on your past mistakes but you have to face your destiny- success! Yes! success is for everyone who choose to find it. Remember who you are...is the key!

Lion King is a hard movie to track down for rent! ha ha. No one in my city, none of the rental stores carry it. Not going to buy it off Ebay, but dang.

Hi there Shelo 2010!
You're right. A lot of moral can be learned from the movie. Even though it a movie intentionally made for kids, I believe that even adults can learn a lot of things from it too. For example, you can learn how much you can strengthen your kid's foundation like how Mufasa did, bonding with Simba. You can also see what happened to Scar and how much ambition, when accompanied with desperation can destroy people and destroy you. There's also Simba, who got over his fears when he saw how much his constituents need him and also Nala who remained a true friend, trusted Simba and know how good his heart is and just never gave up on him.

Good point shelo. Most of the childrens movies have a great moral to them but we often overlook it.
