One day last Spring, I was on time for once to my Astronomy class. Everything was great. It was a beautiful, cool day. Cool enough that I decided to wear my flip flops. I saw the big pick-up truck in the inside lane as I started to walk across the highway in front of the college. It was far enough away and there wasn't any traffic coming from the other way. So I flip-flopped my way across. Now I never saw the car behind the truck, so it only makes sense that she was already speeding. The big truck slowed for me, the lady in the car darted around the truck in the intersection. I heard her, but I couldn't look. A breeze hit my cheek and chills went down my spine. A step from the curb I hear her tires squealing. I made it just in time for her to give ME a dirty look. She waved her arms at me as if to say that my nearly getting smashed was my fault. I was in a crosswalk. She was changing lanes in an intersection. My boyfriend defied all odds in the early 80s. They told his family that if he woke up from his coma he would be severely mentally disabled. He had to learn how to walk and talk again. He has no recollection of the years prior to the wreck. But. Now he holds two degrees - Anthropology and History. "He's my miracle," says his mom. So that makes him my miracle, too. Have you or anyone you know defied death?

Yes I was walking to work one day and stopped at a road crossing soon as the lights changed and it was safe for me to cross I crossed there was a bus on my left but as I was at a crossing (on which lights were red for cars to STOP) I just crossed the road as I stepped from behind the bus a motorbike ran the red light and well if I had walked one second faster he would have hit me.
His number plate was written down and he was caught from the cameras on the traffic lights he was jailed for dangerous driving its sad because his moment of stupidity (assuming so he said that cos he could see no one on the crossing it was safe for him to run the light and was also my fault for walkin from behind a bus nevermind i was safely on the crossing) could have killed me he was travelling very fast it makes me so angry that idiots like that can hurt whole families with their stupid behaviour!
