I do believe that it can help us when we have problems. It can help to our mental and emotional beings. It keeps us to think positive, be optimistic. It serves as placebo, we think positive outcome and be at ease to what we feel.

There is no doubt that laughter is a medicine even the Lord, Himself laughs in the heavens so laughter is a healthy habit. When there are problems the Lord has a way to turn our calamity into laughter, as seen in Psalm 126:2 "There was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen. The Lord has done great things for them." When Abraham heard the promises of the Lord he fell on his face and laughed. Right down the years laughter is used as a stress reliever and a means to show happiness. I enjoy laughter and according to doctors it releases some positive hormones into the body. By the way laughter is a universal language, although this beautiful means of expression is now used to express even anger, which to me is a new phenomenon.

I do really agree with you.Laughter is very important in our life.It shows the most beatiful aspect in our world. It not only makes ourselves a good mood but also deliver our happiness to others. When we are in trouble, a simple smile can bring us infinite courage. It also protects us from darkness and sadness anyway. And laughter is the best way of longevity.

Not medicine, better than that. Just doing something silly, to make you laugh will help ease tention, stress, and bring you out of a moody blue. It's like when they say to talk on the phone with a smile somehow people can sense moods even if they can't see your face. I have also found that if you force a smile it will change your mood a bit helps you relax. I suppose the same would be true if forcing a laugh.

Yes, I do believe laughter is good for us, and can help us heal. Norman Cousins healed himself by watching funny movies. From a Chinese Traditional Medicine point of view, I would say laughter opens us up for a better flow of Chi through our bodies. (Blockages of Chi are what cause our health problems.)

There is no doubt that laughter is the best medicine. Anything is possible because of laughter. Sometimes a joke can make you forget all unhappiness and pain. The most important is that, as you said, laugher can keep us positive and optimisitic, nomatter inner or looks. Blessings!

I do believe laughter is the best medicine. Whenever you're in a bad mood, or in pain, if someone makes you laugh, you can temporarily forget about your problems and enjoy the feeling of happiness. It is impossible to feel bad when you're genuinely laughing. It's the only thing guaranteed to always make you feel better!

Yes I do believe that laughter is the best medicine still. People who are always smiling and laughing with reasons of course are younger in looks than their actual ages. It will also build up a strong health and to win more social connections.

Hi vycess. Direct from the Great Physician... Pr 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. I know I feel a whole lot better after a good laugh. Even playing with the grandchildren is a help. Thank you for posting this discussion, because it reminds me I jolly well need to laugh more. Excuse me while I go look in the mirror !
