Well God is omnipresent and omniscient. I am quite confused if at all God is literate. Does he know all the language people speak around the globe or just as ignorant as an illiterate person? If He is to be omniscient he must know all and that equates to His being literate.
I feel God is not polyglot and He does not know all the language on the Earth.
What is your story?
Love

Hi Rajib
Its after a long long time I’me seeing you here and that also with a discussion in which you must be joking…you know of course that God is just a human belief, a source to draw strength from and an excuse for innumerable atrocities perpetuated by mankind on each other (and animals, too) thru the centuries!
Till science proves of negates God completely, I would look upon Him as something beyond human parameters…so language obviously does not apply here.

Hi sudiptaa,
Thanks for the concern and also congrats that you have got my vein. Surely God, if at all He is there must be a polyglot and all knowing for he can not do partiality between Somalia and the USA. That God is an illusion is proved by the epic by Dante 'The divine Comedy.
Hope you are doing well.

The way I see God is all knowing and omnipresent. If you believe that He is our Creator then it stands to reason that he would know all there is to know about every single one of us from the number of hairs on our head to the language we speak. I am inclined to believe that when we leave this world we will communicate with each other with something that is beyond earthy language and it is called love.

Hi Paula my friend,
The whole concept of God and Creation is a debatable issue and all are not eye to eye to this point. You and me might believe that God is there and is omnipresent and omniscient but there are so many others who would oppose our view and would ask for proof and we have nothing handy to dominate their stand.

Omniscient does mean to be knowing everything, perhaps that includes knowledge about the other languages that His creations had eventually learned to use as well as succeeding languages that His creations would learn later on.

You have a legit point here. This brings that conclusion that God is an educated fellow who knows every tongue that people around the globe uses.

I don't think the real God is a polyglot, as the heart speaks the same language for everyone...

Hi blademaiden,
You seem to be on the right tract as there is doubt if God knows all the languages on the Earth.

You can not base your idea of God on man's intellect. You just do not have a clue. Knowledge capabilities of God are beyond your comprehension. All the different languages are nothing. Let me give you a picture of what I'm talking about. Do you know what encryption is? It's the 128 bits that with so many possible conbinations make thing secure on the internet. Life is the education of God's childern. We learn through the parameters of our lives and the people we meet. Interaction between people is key to learning. Think 128 bits are alot? Try billions interacting with billions. How many combinations are possible??? That is just this one planet. How many planets and universes are there??? Yes, man does have a way to go before we understand God.

Hi bird,
There substance in your post. But whatsoever you say the concept of God id still a hypothesis and until and unless we have substantial proof we would not accept anything relating o God.

God is real. Some people do not believe God's existence because they cannot see Him. But God is Spirit, and therefore invisible to our physical eyes. God knows everything. He is omniscient. He is all-knowing. In the Bible it says, even the strands of your hair is numbered. If God knows the numbers of your hair and the number of the sands in the seas, how much more the languages of the entire mankind, not to mention the language in heaven. God is beyond human imagination. He is infinite, and our finite minds cannot fully comprehend His greatness. Only a fool will say that there is no God.

Hi levis,
This is your hypothesis to state that God is real. Has any one ever been able to bring proof that thee is God? I am afraid none has. Still we presume that there is one super power that reign the whole universe and that is invisible that we have termed as God.
Now coming to God's literacy, we must take this for granted that He must be at home with al languages in the world or else it would be difficult for him to know His creation.

I believe God knows all the language. For us we talk different language, but in God, whenever we talk to him, only one language is what he can hear. I remember I watched the movie THe Bible during holyweek. The people created before don't understand each other, so they went to those people who can understand them and they formed a group, which we can say that stands for different country, different language. God will not do it if he don't understand other language, i believe he do know all the language here on Earth.

Hi grecy,
Many men many minds and many concepts as well. First of all tee is doubt if at all God exists. If it is like the Pendora in the film 'Avatar' there is least chance that some supreme power rules the life on the Earth or else the differences between the theists anD ATHEistwould go on indefinite.

I believe that God created us all (Genesis says "Let us make man in our image) and during the times of Noah and the mess his sons created by building the Tower at Babel, he separated all the people into the different races and scattered them around the earth. (Genesis 11:9)
I personally do not believe that He would have done something like that and then created a language that he could not understand!
I also believe that we were all created to worship Him. If he didn't understand what we were saying, the worship would fall on deaf ears, and that just doesn't make sense to me.
I know you're entitled to your opinion, and I respect that...but we are just going to have to agree to disagree on this point.

We all only speak one language but we are not aware that we do. It is avalable for all of us even though we think that we cannot understand each other.
A smile, a hug, a kiss, a tear and all the other gestures that we make without speaking belong to a universal language and surely that is the one that we can all speak, understand and make ourselves understood to others if we wish to?
We all see the same things too even though we interpret them differently. The beauty of the sun and the rain can only be seen if we have eyes to see them and know how to use them.
There is no language barrier as it is all one and the same

Hi Diana,
Sorry that I once again got stumbled but I am there.
You are right if we human can understand the feelings of each other even not knowing the language why not God would know them.
Though we speak different languages we share same feelings and emotions as human being.
I appreciate your stand on this post.

Hi moon,
I feel I agree to your point here. Even if He is God this is not necessary that He knew all the languages. He could be omniscient or omnipresent but this issue is quite different.

I think that God probably speaks a perfect language that is beyond what anything we have on earth. Something about humanity prevents us from remembering heaven, but deep inside us our souls know the language of God and when we die we we will again remember that perfect language. In God's language there are no misunderstandings or communications because the language is perfect and everything is communicated clearly.
I think that God can hear our thoughts in that perfect language that perhaps does not even need words to be spoken.

Hi glords,
Your idea is really appreciable in the sense that you have a deep faith on the existence of the Almighty. Wel if He exists and if we believe that all is His creation He must understand all the languages people speak around the globe and if this is not the case God is a hoax.

i thought that almighty god has know the every language we speak.because He is the creator of the universe, mankind, and every thing that all exist in the universe.
and He knows every thing what it is on the universe..because almighty god only taught the mankind how to speak, learn ,eat and every thing..

Hi there,
This is mere a hypothesis that there is God and He is omniscient. Now if or not God knows all the language people speak around the globe or he is mere an illiterate fellow is a question that seeks solution.
Most people believe that God is literate and knows all.

Hello my friend Rajib Ji,
Well GOD is 'ALL IN ALL'. HE knows everything. Knowing languages also come within those sectors. Also different religions praying goes through GOD's represenative, so some Pray in English, some in Persian, you in Asamees and myself in Hindi, through GOD"s representative. Best proof lies that, GOD is GOD and not maygodblessu44 OR krajibg , as we do not know all tehse languages. I never compare with anyone else other tahn myself.
May God bless You and have a great time.
