Got a girlfriend and is ready to marry but couldn't because I'm currently jobless and still struggling to finish college. Living with both parents and is broke, I pay for my schooling. Can't find a decent job that would fit the busy school schedule unless I stop going to school for sometime to save money for the next enrollment. I was here in mylot to earn now I'm here to learn and help in any way I can. I love to make people smile. I don't want to be famous I just want to live a simple life and raise a family of my own. I may not be perfect but I will definitely make it possible to put a smile in everyones face, as long as I live

Thanks for the compliment I hope my girlfriend sees it the way you do. From time to time she is worried I couldn't finish college in time to save money for our marriage. I understand her though, I'm just glad and thankful that she is still with me and waiting despite my current situation

I know there is not much to earn here and I appreciate what you've shared. I hope I got to be in college in your time. Now college is a bit different from your days, specially in my school. Mapua is b!**h, imagine compressing a semestral class into three months to make it quarterms. My classes are usually distributed from 7:30 am to 9pm everyday, there are breaks but I usually use it for studying. If I work while going to school then my only option would be night shifts. I wouldn't have time to sleep in a day if I do that and I don't want to kill myself before graduation. I'm here in mylot to gain experience in writing and improving my English and earn extra so I can prepare myself into another career. I love interacting here and having fun. I will surely work abroad after graduation and I'm confident that I can easily blend in with other people because of my activity and what I've learned here. This is a stepping stone for me because if you are in an engineering profession they really don't entertain students in this business unless they are on on job training and I see writing is another option for me to pay for my expenses in my future profession

hello bro, so why are we still log in, there no cash here, what we earn here is merely enough for internet bills and electricity charges, just to share you a story, I am 36yrs old now, i dont know if its still permitted to do Half Loads in school, but way back college years, a few of my freinds had to work to support school, and that they can only enroll for half loads academics. Mind me, i thought they were working as waiters or usher or cooks in some fastfood, i really never asked coz i think i would hurt their feelings, but the truth was they were working as Jr Accountants in PNB and some in MetroBank, They had the JOB Experience right before graduation, i met some of them in facebook, Elizabeth is a US aCCountant in Michigan, Allan works next to the mananger in Dell Company USA. Jay is a Bookkeeper in a casino in London, I pity them coz they have to work during our college days, but look at them now. So get your Job tomorrow and dont ask for a big remuneration, you are only after the experience. For Big Company who pays really big, They are looking for people with 5-10 years experience, Dont waste your time here.

It is nice that you start a post like this so everyone can introduce themselves here. I come from one of the states in Malaysia that is nearer to your country. Been mylotting for more than 3 years now and love this place so much as I am quite a social lady. I run a pub and houses for rent. Not easy business but sustainable. I have been in the employment world for many years which saw me as a lecturer in secretarial science, a secretary and now doing my own business. I travel frequently and have been to your country twice.

The laws are too tight now and no foreigners are allowed to work in pubs. But I have two Filipinos renting my house here. Philippines is the place where people from here like to go for vacation.

I am a family man too, in my late thirties with a ten year old and an eight year old. I spent most of my working life repairing accident damaged cars. I left this line of work more than 3 years ago and now I work from home running an online health food store. We send out products all over Australia and sometimes overseas. I compete in archery and am also interested in Kayaking, Bushwalking, Djembe drumming, permaculture and organic gardening. I am here in myLot as I enjoy the online friendships and I feel I can help others who are looking to improve their health. I also like the cash, but that is just a bonus.

Quiting smoking is a step in the right direction, but Coke and Pepsi are probably just as bad for you as smoking. And just as addictive! Your body will thank you when you give them up!

Im currently and unemployed 19 year old. I was working as a roofing labourer for about 5 and a half months until I got laid off in mid-December. Here in Canada, a lot of roofers get laid off at this time of year because with the snow it is much harder to work on roofs and what not if that makes any sense. I applied to college a few days ago in different programs. The programs are: Computer Technician & Networking, Culinary - Chef Training, and Tourism and Travel. I am mostly interested in the Computer Technician program though. So wish me luck with getting into this program please :) And that is who I am.

Hello there mrfdg! Who am I? I am many things. I'm a wife, between us my husband and I have 6 grown children and 9 grandchildren. I was a computer professional with degrees in programming and network administration but 6 years ago my husband and I left the rat race behind and moved to south Florida to be closer to his family after we almost lost his brother to cancer. Since then I've worked for a large sugar producer and a railroad down here. When the economy took the last job away we turned my husband's love of motorcycles into a business, which we've owned for just about a year now. He customizes and repairs the bikes and I run the office. When we're not working we like to ride (of course), we also like to go out on the boat and sometimes fish.

I am very good with bikes, but not the Bikes you have there in your country, just 125cc and 200cc single piston, I put 1 extra washer to the Clutch springs bolt(each) so the bikes would respond more. I also do advance timing on the timing chain, 1-2 teeth so the engine gets more power at lower revs.

I'm 27 never been married. Between me and my SO we have 6 kids. All live with us. HOuse full! I don't do much; I waitress at a truckstop and we works at a factory. I feel like I am constantly busy with scouts or basketball or whatever sport is at the time. I don't feel like I ever have time for myself and definitely no alone time with my SO. He works third shift so we don't even get to share a bed at night. I do love him dearly, but I hate his job!! I feel like we would have more of a family life if he worked a first shift job. We don't hardly ever go out. I'm here at mylot because I have learned alot about so many different things. I also feel here is were I can get advice on whatever situations may arise.

Hiya mrfdg, That´s a really hard job you have there it must be really satisfying work though. I always got more satisfaction out of Gardening and things like that than anything else. It tires you out leaves me feeling much more calmer and serene. Thing is we don´t have a Garden we can cultivate rather it belongs to everyone. I´m just me trying to be me the authentic me. That is not easy being true to yourself either. Take care now.
