Facebook is now a days has become one of the most used websites over the internet. Have anyone thought why the Facebook has become so much popular over the years? In my view Facebook has just done what the people require. Facebook has kept its name alive. It means that one can read on Facebook, his or others own written book about himself. Facebook not only connects one person to another but also has been a power house of many other utilities. Right from birthday calendar to live chatting everything is available under one roof. In the coming future Facebook is going to gain more and more popularity as it was never before. These feature are only the glimpses of the reason for the popularity of Facebook.

I think that Facebook is very popular because of the features and applications. It helps connect people who have been away from each other for a while. It helps update people of the status of their friends and relatives. There are a lot of things about Facebook that differentiates it from other Social Networking Sites.

I think facebook is so popular because of many application that they have. People around the is addicting on playing games...The fact also is that they put anything on that sites so that people know their grievances...Have a nice day!!!

I think social networking is replacing chatrooms and instant messaging. It has become one of the most popular ways to communicate with people with either common interests or with people you may have known in your life. I want to see what they do with all of these people that are using facebook.

In my opinion, Facebook started out as a social, community network. As it progressed, it helped connect people from all around the world. Then came online activities that "friends" from all over can participate in.
In my opinion, Facebook grew its popularity due to the fact that it can connect you with "long lost friends" and relatives.

Hello sanjeevsingh me too have observed that within no time the Facebook was popular among us.Me too have joined it but on recommendation from an friends, for earning purpose, the paypal wish list program.But when started with it, surprise to know that its just like our private social site, and also friendly.There are lots of features that are interesting to use, specially the friendship and messaging.I enjoy making friends online, in facebook too have made some friends.Anyways keep it up with your mylotting and facebook.Happy mylotting.

facebook is famous because=
just like any other social networking site
and it has big privacy
you can add your videos and other stuff which is not added in youtube
there is tons of application to be fun
and of course you can hang out with friends

I am also a fan of facebook. Right after I wake up, I log into facebook. So I can instantly check what is new on my friends and family. I can greet friends and family on their birthdays. I can also see their recent activities, photos.
I also love to play games on facebook like farmville, restaurant city, cafe world, fishvill etc. So what else can i say about facebook, it's simply awesome and i love it. Hope facebook would have videochat soon.

I'm also wondering what makes facebook popular. At first I'm amazed because of the transparency of your friends communications with their other friends trough writing on thier walls. Some of the applications are addictive at first but then when some of your friends invited you for another applications your focus would be divided. That's is why right now I minimize the time using facebook and concentrate in some making money online... Including MyLot.. At least here we earn, and we always get fresh ideas from other members..

I'm not quite sure but I guess its a way to see what your friends are up to, so you can keep up to date. I have recently realized that when I get home first thing i do is turn on my computer, and then I open internet. First place I go to is Facebook to check my status and any other posts I may have.

Facebook...I believe it is because of the way it has grown from grass roots.(don't really have evidence). but think about this... no one knew who or what facebook was then a few people started using the site and they refered others and so on... Now it is what it is.
I think any social network can potentially become the next facebook. before it was myspace then i was on hi5 now face book and maybe soon mylot who knows. it just depends on what type of value these sites offer to the users.
facebook offers that and now that everyone is already there noone wants to leave so it's about integrating or competing. which ever it better be good.

Facebook is like a Cellphone, but you dont need numbers as inputs, just type the name of the person and you will get connected.

if you don't have any friends in facebook it would be a bore to you..i use facebook to reconnect with my old friends. i can chat with them even if i don't use my YM..
even without the game applications like farmville, farm town, mafias facebook is way much better than friendster..

well its fun to me because i get to connect with my friends i usually cant hang out with anymore or see alot anymore or just check up and see how they're doing or i can post a wall post to let everyone else know what im doing like for example:
im going to the mall 3:00 am or something like that and my friends usually would meet me up there.
but if you have no friends on facebook i would see why you would think it would be boring.
