GenPool is a small program you can download from swimbots.com and run, learn and enjoy it. No installation is required. It wants to show you the basic principles of the Evolution theory of Darwin. Many people from small children to interested scientists are using it all over the world. It generates a pool of different creatures based on some genetic codes and they try to eat and mate. It shows those can stay and live that can adopt better with their environment. I'm a chemical engineer interested in computer and internet but not in genetic basics. Nevertheless, it was very cool for me. I like that.

Pretty cool. I especially like the accessibility to children- kids need to be properly educated on evolutionary theory.
