Violence, Is It Going Up Where You Are?

Seems like everyday the crimes are just going up. I live in a small town, and the drive by shootings and killings are becoming more and more of every day life. Saturday we had a 12 year old shot in the arm and head, she is still alive, her father was shot in the stomach. November, we had alot of shootings, a 1 1/2 year old was killed, along with her 22 year old cousin, and uncle. The other day I heard about the killings in Texas, and last week there was the shootings at one of the car rental places. Is this what things are coming down to, if you have a problem, get a gun and kill someone. One of the school districts in South Carolina does not have the money to fight a law that allows students to have a concealed weapon in their car. Why on earth would a high student need a weapon in his car, and who is giving them the weapons. This world is just getting crazier and crazier everyday, and it does not seem like it will ever end.

Yes, unfortunately, this is becoming a very serious problem wordlwide. In my country we actually live on survival. They do not just break in, take what they want and leave. They kill you before they leave with your belongings. Whether you are awake or not. They will kill you for your car, purse, phone or even R20. And the new thing in our schools, they actually attack their fellow students wirh scissors. Now, i do not know where this will end, but something need to be done.

I agree with you on this topic of discussion as to how these persons care of their needs and necessity and don't think of the in justice being done by them. This is not good on human behavior as there would be no safe level for a human to exist on this planet of so.

My point exactly. We as a human race will either be destroyed or we will be destroyed by someone else.

Something really does need to be done. When are children are attacking each other, what will be next. People do not value life anymore. It is a very scary world we live in.

Its a sad thing of life. Humans are regressing into more primal instincts. Its not so much evil, but the "better" people survive, and the ones on the low end don't. If they aren't targets of crime, then something else has them by the string. Lack of money, food, etc. Life sucks and its difficult to know that human kind, the smartest out of all the animals, is the most primel animal out there. They, we, are no better then the cats, dogs, etc... that do the exact same thing.

We are getting to be just as bad as the animals. At least with animals they kill for food, I feel alot of our killings are just for the heck of it. When a gang wants you to kill just to be a part of the gang, there is something really wrong.

sounds crazy, i personally think that since the weapons aren't banned, the violence won't stop and the crimes neither so, i think that to stop those kind of things we must vote a new law that forbids selling weapons to particulars

Well, this is exactly the reason whey I no longer watch the news on television. All I could see and hear are people getting robbed or killed. It is really sad what our environment has become. It used to be peaceful way back then. But now, we are already afraid of walking on some areas most especially at night.

I fully agree with you. Things were much better and safer years ago. I have classes at night, from 6 to 9 and I hate leaving the building. I always make sure I am parked by the door. We always leave in a group also. It is sad that you can not really feel safe anymore.

Violence is actually around the same level it was. Now granted, it is not a peaceful place where everyone gets along. I doubt you could find that in any place. However, it is just what could be considered an average level. Some disturbing crimes on occasion but nothing to suggest that it is above average. I do not feel uncomfortable walking out my front door for fear of getting shot. So I guess that could be considered a good sign.

Not in case of your country only but its with every country of the world in this, state of future is in danger as people all over are comitted in doing different crimes which is dangerous for the upcoming future. Persons kill, shoot and murder one another just to fulfill their desires in a wrong way. Wrong virtual s are exploiting these future generation children to commit wrong deeds this what is happening is harmful and should not be allowed it needs a stop otherwise you can assume what consequences may occur in near future.

It is a global problem. And as sad as it is, I see no end in sight for it all. It seems that they get no punishment for their crimes, they plea mentally unstable and get off.
