Silly Rant: Do I care that you are in the Royal Rumble?

Last night on Monday Night Raw they decided to have the show end with John Cena, Big Show, Shawn Michaels, and HHH all say how they are going to be in the Royal Rumble and win it all. Do I care? No. They have a 30 second spot playing showing these guys all saying that they are going to win it. Why do we need to use up more time in front of a live crowd for that. The live crowd should know that these guys will be in it assuming they have seen the same commercial spot.
Plus, I hope they bring back credibility ( I know laugh at a guy who just wrote about credibility in relation to a scripted sport) to the Royal Rumble. It's been cheapened by the Triple Threat Matches that have been taking place with a Royal Rumble winner. Royal Rumble winners should be entitled to a one-on-one.
End Rant.

The Royal Rumble is one of my favorite events of the year. However, this year, I feel less interested for some reason and I do not know why. I applause WWE for being able to put promotion behind the event but it just feels flat. There are just no compelling main events that are coming out of the Rumble. Its likely to be Triple H winning the Rumble and challenging Sheamus for the title at Wrestlemania 26. Another bland Triple H main event at Wrestlemania, yay! Now, don't get me wrong, I don't hate Triple H. He has been good but it just seems like his matches in the main event of Wrestlemania have been hit or miss.
I do agree however that the main event should be one on one, straight up. I never like Triple Threat matches for the title to begin with, quite frankly. It just cheapens the belt. Nine times out of ten when there is a title change, the challenger pins the other challenger to win the belt. The champion is not involved. Multi-man title matches have always been silly. Once a year, at the very most, fine, I'll go with that but more than once, its just to the point of being absurd. And surely not in the main event at Wrestlemania. The winner of the Rumble should get a one on one title shot. No exceptions, barring a career ending injury.

I kinda agree, triple threats are smaller rumbles 910% the size), and a former winner might benefit from having a decent one-to-one or even a tag....either way, this should be good to see who, Taker's next victim is.
