Ok im here to say ive tried just about every way to quit smoking and just cant seem to make it happen for myself. I am pretty sure its not the physical addiction that im hungup on its all about the emotional physcological issues about it.
So ive been reading about these newer Electronic Cigrettes they claim to be better for you no tar, no toxic chemicals, cost less and yes even help people quit smoking. I guess I am having an issue with believing they can help you quit. After all theres still nicotine in the electronic cigrettes so arnt you just trading one form of nicotine addiction for another? Isnt the nicotine harmful to our bodies too? Has anyone out in mylot land tried these? Did you actually save money compared to buying regular cigrettes? Did you try them thinking it was a way to help you quit? Just looking for others oppinions of them since the start up kit is about 2times the amount it costs for a carton of cigrettes. Thanks

Not being a smoker myself, maybe I'm not the best one to have an opinion on this, but having family who have quit,it seems to be down to making a decision to quit and sticking with it no matter what.
Maybe some one of the tapering off techniques will work for You,like the e-cigs or patches, maybe quitting outright, but one thing's for sure,if you don't have the willpower to quit,it won't be long until you start again. Some look at it from a financial angle, planning what they'll be able to do with the money they'll save, others the health benefits or having clothing that doesn't stink of smoke to start it off..Whatever way you're coming at it from,I hope it works for You. Good Luck!

Thanks for the commen. You are right just making up your mind is a huge part of it. I have told myself so amny times ive made up my mind i wanted to quit but then just go back. In the past ive used excuses like it was a stressful event to make me start again or to says the childs were driving me crazy...but in looking back the real truth is i just hadnt made up my mind 100%.
