How can I use save on gas?

There are no buses in my direct area, and definitely no buses that will get me to work and back. Walking is not an option that I wish to use. I work in the next city over, and I travel about fifty miles per day just to get there and back. Carpooling is also not an option, as I do not have other friends or family who travel that far.
I recently bought my first car (a Jeep Wrangler), and I was wondering if there was something that I could do differently in my current routine to save on gas. I remember someone telling me at one point that the A/C and heater use a small amount of gas, but I do not know if that has any truth to it. Any suggestions?

Yeah. It will cut off your time everyday, every week, and you can how much time which are you used in a month. If you try what I've done that I moved to another city instead. So I can optimize the time. Moved the another city is the good way for me. No traffic jam No waste time. So why don't you try that?

I am working on moving out, but I needed a vehicle first. I do not have enough money left after the vehicle payment and insurance to afford another place to live at the moment. Basically, I am stuck where I currently am until things are able to change. On the same note, I do not want to get a different job because I am happy there. Also, my friends are having a lot of trouble finding jobs and I do not want to leave if there is nothing else out there for me, especially if I will not like it.
