Do you ever reel when people say stuff like this? And want you to become their referral, even though they haven't gotten paid yet? I feel like this is not right, but I can't quite explain it! Have you ever gotten messages or had anyone tell you something along these lines? How did YOU react? I kind of laughed when I got a message from someone saying, "well, this site LOOKS like it pays..So please join under me!". Laughable, right? What are your thoughts?

Yes it is laughable because they have'nt paid yet but they are inviting you to join. Just be careful in joining sites that looks legitimate but it is not, especially with guarantees. Most of them do not make refunds.

I don't ask that way to my prospect referrals. I tried to be honest as long as possible. If they join under me it means they understand what they are up to. And if I'm a new member of a site and I want someone to join under me, I always tell them that I'm a new member and I don't know if they will pay. If that person joined in spite of my warning...I thank them so much. And if ever I encounter that kind of proposal I will ignore it.

Hey great post. To be honest I've been trying a lot of these sites and some of them have paid me so far. Some of the other one's I've been using haven't paid me yet because there payments are on a net daily paying schedule. I'm not going to try and get anyone to sign up under me on a site that could be potentially wasting their time. I only refer people to the sites that I have been paid by.

Telling those line isn't trusty. I will not accept referral like that if someone is not sure if the site is paying. Time is really important for us. That's why I want my referral to have a proof of payment..

it sounds crazy.. the first time I saw your discussion title it gave that feeling of doubt if it really pays at the same time it made me curious so I opened this discussion. Anyway it won't be effective in my opinion... :P

Before I suggest to others that they join a site, i wait until I've been paid and I've seen that others have been paid as well (In case I just got lucky). Even then I warn people that websites sometimes just fizzle out.

I haven't gotten paid from mylot yet. And it will still cost me a long long time to reach the minimum payment. I try to persuade every potential referral to join in under me hoping to get an active referral to speed up my earning here. Many refused me because I haven't gotten paid. I keep trying ...
