Today the 3D movies become to be much more popular, especially right now the 3D movie Avatar is available. However, I don't understand why there are no children's 3D glasses. The cinemas have the same size 3D glasses. Namely the children have to wear the 3D glasses as well as us. I think the cinemas shall think about it and also buys more 3D glasses for children.

TO be quite honest Youless, it's not recommended for small children to watch 3d movies. I think they figure parents will bring the older children whereas its hard for little ones to understand what's really the point. dl

Im sure you're a wonderful mom! Its just that from there standpoint children wont understand it. If your son is loving them, then maybe he is ready to understand.THere's no written law that you cant bring them. Most kids would be overwhelmed. If your son understood how to use the glasses than hes one smart kid. Keep up the good work. dl

hi, back in the day i do remember the movie theaters giving out free 3d glasses. but as far as today I'm am not sure if they are adverting a movie that is in 3D than they should offer the glasses I guess the money may be tight right now. well there was a comment about being able to get them another way and so I would check that out. good luck

Your right that they need to consider that they have little customers too. I could probably use a pair of those little 3D glasses myself. The last time I went, they were huge on my face. You couldn't even see my little one's face at all...lol...big giant glasses.

Good point! I don't know why the cinema in your city did not offer 3D glass for children, but in my city, we do have a smaller 3D glass especially for kids, i think they have the same rights to enjoy the great money like avatar! Thanks for reading and responding my discussions!

That's great. But I have heard that in our province, only Dongguan has the real 3D cinema. What a surprise

I think that the glasses are one size. Because once they start catering for children, then they may have to start catering for people with really big heads or something. It would be too costly and time consuming. Plus they won't know how many to order

I think it is not so suitable for one size only.

Hmm, well I'm not sure about the cinemas where you live, but the one I go to offers a punch-out cardboard pair of kid-size 3D glasses with the kid's snack pack, and they also offer the smaller size of the plastic 3D glasses inside the theater when you go to be seated. Have you sent a suggestion to someone in management of the cinema you go to? Perhaps they don't have enough room in their budget to buy a separate size of glasses for children, but maybe if you get in touch with someone in management, they may be able to put in the word or at least keep the idea on the table so that if they are able to afford it, they could buy them.
