Copying Friends

it depends on the person copying your answer. If she relies on you that much and she's not exerting any effort, I think you must not tolerate her behavior. Because letting her copy your answers will just help her get high scores however, she didn't learn anything. It is good to confront her and let her realize that you just want to help her. But if the person is not mature enough to accept the fact, it is better to avoid her to copy your answers. She's not really cheating on you but on herself. :D

Well if they are trying to copy off of me, then I do not really consider them my friends. People have tried to copy off of me before and I do not like it. I try and shield my answers most of the time. If I am feeling mean, I purposely put down what I think is the wrong answer. Then when they are not looking, I change it back to the right answer. Most of the time, I just block my answers from the person sitting next to me.

I don't allow people to copy my answers, or even outlines for papers. I almost got expelled for one person who couldn't do his own work on a term paper in college and from then on I don't allow ANYONE near any of my work, to look over my shoulder, or copy ANYTHING that might be turned in for a grade. I don't even invent ways to explain why they can't copy or borrow my outlines. I don't invent ways to keep them from copying...if they even start I will announce to the world that it isn't acceptable behavior in my college for people to cheat. Cheating doesn't do them any good. The person needs to either learn the material for themselves or not be in the class in the first place. It doesn't benefit anyone to allow cheating on exams and if I did find out they were copying me I would confront them about it and also would inform the instructor simply to protect myself. The instructor is going to see that answers are similar and wonder what is going on...so if you inform the instructor you're saving yourself. It is more important for you to make the grades and learn the information as you continue through school.

hello there... when i as still studying, yeah i let my classmates copy from me and them as well...haha we have this give and take relationship...but of course we are not always doing that...there are just some time...and i think that's one of the greatest mistake that i ever done in my school years coz it brings me a lot of troubles... maybe if i were to go back on those days, i will not let them copy my answers and not even allow them to talk to me while taking exams... but you know, i remember, there are times that i am not in the mood of sharing my answers, i just ignore them during exams...hehe and sometimes i tell them that i am not sure about my answer... i guess its better for us not to let them copy from us...coz they will just be dependent to us and when caught, we will just be in big troubles with our teachers...

I would definitely not let my friends copy during exams, I would be frank about it and tell them before the exam starts. It wouldn't be helping them at all if I let them copy my wrong answers. ;D
