Do We Need Any Religion?

Do you believe in any religion? But first of all you think about whether believing in religion serves any purpose at all - be it good or bad. If you don't believe in any religion what can happen to you. I am of the firm conviction that if you eschew or fight shy of your religious beliefs, you could be a person of high moral integrity and you could be basking in high self-confidence which is very much needed in all our needs and deeds. Only if you are a person of frail and weak mental stature, you will be looking for something or someone in the guise of religion and God? Yes, religion and god are two inseparable concepts in all religions. But these concepts are never proved to be scientific. Scientific tempers never look for any non-existent God. What we cannot feel in our organic/biological senses cannot have the existence of any sort and that is our rational and scientific tempers. We are rational beings and we live rationally till our deaths. Only non-human beings cannot sense or feel rationally. So, what is the use of our being called rational beings without having and pursuing scientific tempers all through our lives? One more thing I want to say had religion, or for that matter God, been any good at all, then it could not do any harm at all. Religion has actually done more harm than good - can you refuse to accept it?
