Should the terrorists caught caught alive be sentenced to death?

An armed terrorist - He is a terrorist with a powerful weapon in his hands. He has kept his face covered. People like him are very dangerous to the society.

The days we often have several terrorists attacks going around the world. On several occasions we have caught live terrorists. Now the question is should they be sentenced to death after investigations or they should be kept alive for other investigations in future?

They should be given full chance to explain their thought process & background. Circumstantial evidence should be taken into account & given appropriate punishment. Though the terrorists are awfully misguided people but nobody should forget that they have been committing heinous crimes and the acts of terrorism do not attract any forgiveness. Their trainers & leaders should also be brought to justice as early as possible. If I see any such act, I'll not wait for a moment to report, and no body should.
