Which is your favorite city in India?

I was born in Kolkata and spend all my days till my graduation there till I got married and came to live in South India and belong to this place originally. But, my love towards Kolkata- the city of joy, never diminishes and I keep recollecting the lovely days of my life I spent there. I visit the city during summer vacations to stay with my parents who reside there but still not satisfied with my short stay. I keep talking to my children about the lovely place, the people the food their tradition and culture, the famous Durga Puja they celebrate and so on........
My children are also attracted towards the city after visiting it during their vacations.
Do you also have a favorite place in India other than your native place?

indeed,i have no gone to the India.but i heard the new deli.
i think it is the favorite city on my mind. as i see it ,the Indian girl is most beautiful,they have the big eyes,and the tall nose. but the men sometimes smell bad.haha

thanks for your response vinabee, We Indians do not see the outlook of a person we just see how lovely their heart is. Beautiful girls are found all over the world, and the bad smell is the fruit of the hard work which men do. Have a good day.

your name is yogambal i think you are Tamilian,but you are saying that you are from Calcutta,that is West Bengal really West Bengal is great State,most of great people born in West Bengal and famous Ramakrishna mutt a Belur is famous,I think Master Paramahamsa yoganand also from your place,i have good and best known person from West Bengal/Calcutta,still i have to pay more than seven thousand rupees to him,i think i have to clear his money at the earliest,have a nice day

Hi, yugasini thanks for your response, I have clearly mentioned that I belong to South India, but have been in kolkata from my childhood till I got married and settled now in South.

I am from Andhra but settled in Chennai. As my husband is a central govt. employee, we always used to stay in the capital cities. So till now we stayed in Trivandrum, Chennai, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, Hubli, and Madhurai.In some places it is repeated. Of all these ,i liked Trivandrum very much. Because the life in Kerala is very close to the Nature and we enjoyed that naturality very much.

First place i most is my city... i.e. bangalore/mysore and another is delhi.... My second home is delhi... I enjoyed living there before... lots of good memories

I Like Ahmedabad very much because it is a cool city of gujarat. It is a business capital of gujarat. In ahmedabad lot of places are there to visit like Swaminarayana Temple, Kankariya Lake, Adalaj VAV, Gandhinagar sarita udhyan, etc.. Please don't forget to visit Gandhi Ashram in Sabarmati - Ahmedabad. The Great Mahatma gandhi had started this ashram now it is a museum which has all historical things stored at main hall of the museum. So I am glad to share with you that I am living in Ahmedabad and I am AHMEDABADI.

My favorite place is Chandigarh in India where i born and brought up..this city know as a beautiful city...green city..you found here green garden and peace natural environment here... i belong to himachal pardesh and i want to explore more hilly mountain places of India...specially lehdak & northern areas of India...

I have heard a lot about Calcutta and wish to visit the place if I get a chance. I have heard a lot about the famous Durga pooja celebrated there. Of course, I like my native place Kerala. Another favorite place in India is Mysore. I like the place very much. I visited there only once, but I want to visit there again. Another place which I want to visit in India is Hydrabad. It is my long time wish to go visit the film city in Hydrabad.
