Have you experienced idle time in the office, when you're waiting for a project or file to be assigned by your boss and have absolutely nothing to work on? I hate idle time because it makes the hours longer. What do you do to kill time?

I like to kill time by doing something healthy for myself. If I have a few minutes to wait for something, I will wander the stairwells or the halls, burning off a few extra calories and stretching my muscles. Or I'll exercise my eyes by focusing on things at various distances, so that I don't develop vision trouble from constantly looking at a computer screen. Or I'll just take a walk to the water cooler and daydream while having a nice tall glass of water. It's nice to take these short "me" times when you're waiting for a project to land on your desk again, and I'm grateful for the moments (though seldom!) that actually come along!

Hi, well most of the time.. to kill time i do something productive which is fun at the same time. To kill time you should relax your mind and do what u do best. I would advise you to take a book if you enjoy reading to your office or draw. If i were you, i'd listen to music. Hope it helps:)

I do not have such an experience. Usually if we have a file to be assigned, it won't take long before it is signed. If I really feel bored, I will read news online from my mobile phone. Have a good day, arystine.
