Do you like wathcing movies with lights on or off?

Lights definitely ON when watching horror movies!!!

Have to watch a movie with the lights off. It feels more like being at the theater. I don't watch horror movies but I think if i did I would watch with the lights on - only to hide under a blanket at the really scary parts. My vote is lights off with popcorn.!

I have to have some sort of lighting on when I watch movies or tv etc..If I dont I get brutal headaches..so even if its just a small lamp or a few scattered candles its all good but there has to be some sort of lighting..

Most people like watching movies with lights off, me too. Because of the same reason, it make us concentration. We don't want disturbances. By the way, I don't watch horror movies, so I don't know what do I like when I watch it. Maybe I will turn off the lights to improve the atmoshpere, the feeling.

I like to watch movies with the lights off. I'm not sure why, since I usually watch everything else with the lights on. I think having the lights off makes the event seem a bit more special or unusual, so it's more exciting for those watching. I agree with you, though, sometimes it's best to watch horror movies with the lights on!

I like watching movies with the lights off because it gives it more of that movie theater feel , plus if you are watching a horror movie it makes it even scarier .

I like to watch movies without any light. Only when you see a movie in a dark atmosphere you really feel like you have watched a movie.If the lights are on, the charm is lost. Of course watching a horror movie, without the lights is a real thrill.

It doesn't make a difference to me! I would just be thankful to sit in peace to watch my movie w/o disturbance(phone call, kids bugg'n, pets bugg'n ect) But I know my DD1 would prefer it w/ the lights off says it gives that movie theater affect to her.

yeah if we are watching a good scary movie we will turn off the lights and turn on sirround sound. we dont never go out and see movies so we will watch them at home

Naturally most of us want to make the lights off to avoid watching disturbances, in addition to that, lights off make me feel comfortable, I can concentrate on watching but please no celphone ringings, it destructs.

yeah..i am more into the theater experience watching movies at home with the lights off, and to add an extra dose of pleasure, i would get an amplifier and speakers to get that surround sound effect.

I like watching a movie with the lights off no matter what. It's because when you turn off the lights, it gives the movie a more real feel and you feel as if your there in the movie. In general, it just makes the movie much better then if you watch it with the lights on.

oh well it depends on the movie... you see, lights have added effects on the movie. so if I were watching a weepy drama or a hilarious flick, I'd rather have my lights on... but thrillers and heart-stopping action? probably lights off...
