Manchester City defeated Manchester United 2-1 in the first leg of Carling Cup. And guess who was at work, it was Tevez with 2 goals on the night. The match was full of drama with gestures after both the goals from Tevez followed by a siege of the Man City goal by Man United. Unfortunately, United could not snatch a equalizer and go into the second leg searching for a win.
What are your views on the match?
Cheers!

I had a bet going on this match - a friend of mine said Man City will win because Mancini is a good coach in his opinion. I said Mancini won Il Calcio when training Inter only because Juve and AC Milan were deducted points and another season because Juve was relegated.
I didn't take into account the fact that Ferguson has been using the reserve players a lot in the FA Cup and Carling Cup, and that's what happened in this match, so I lost a chocolate...

For Heavens sake... look at that defense!!! Evra is the only first team player there... It may be that some of the players were injured, I am not up to date with the injured list, but in my opinion the first team defenders are called Ferdinand, Vidic, and maybe O'Shea.
I agree that the midfielders are pretty much the standard first eleven, except for maybe Carrick, which must have been replaced by a striker. A single striker? Where did that come from?
I might have created a confusion because I meant to say the first eleven, nit the first team... the first team includes all the players, you're right on that one.

Well, we totally dominated them in their own home but we just made a few errors so SAF is confident that we'll go through. But anyway, it is the Carling cup and it is number four on our priorities. We just want to win this match because its a derby.

Hi friend,
Sorry for not watching the match. But the result proved my viewpoint that Ferguson had made a mistake of giving up Tevez. In my opnion, he is really a good avant guard. I am impressed by his shot skills and inexhausted energy. He is keep in the running on stage.
