Did Judas go to heaven?

This was an interesting debate two friends of mine once had. One argued "yes" saying that he was doing the will of Jesus (Jesus foretold it; therefore it was his duty to betray Jesus); the other argued no saying that betraying Jesus was a sin. These two people were married and belonged to the same church so it wasn't a disagreement based on that particular sect's teachings. It was something they each thought about and came to a different conclusion.

i don't think so because i believe judas knew what he was doing. if he didnt know what he was doing was wrong then he would have never felt guilty enough to kill himself (which i also believe would make you go to hell because you are rejecting God's gift of life that he has given us)

i think he did not go to heaven. its because of his great sin against jesus christ.he sold him to pharisees. he did feel sorry about his sin. but again he hang himself.and committed another sin
