Hi, Are there really many people in the world speaking Esperanto? Compared to Latin, is it more difficult or less difficult? If you know or ever heard of it, please answer.

Years ago, I sent for some Esperanto materials. I wanted to learn it, but I couldn't find anyone esle here who was interested in it. I think English is the language that most people communicate in now and for business and so on. I wanted to learn it and go to gatherings and such so I could communicate with people that I normally would not be able to.

Hi, I collected many Esperanto materials. According to its structure, I feel that it's more related to European languages, like its conjugation and declension. So are there any schools around your place offering such kind of lessons? How much do you know right now about Esperanto? Just a beginner?

I sent for materials about 2 or three decades ago and have moved a couple of times since then. I only had the first lesson from a college in California. I live in NY State, the most northern part near Canada. People teach English, Spanish, and French in schools here.
