I have been suckered into so many scams, and I haven't really made a thing. I would love to be able to just make a couple hundred dollars a month to be able to afford to live on my own, yet there seems to be nothing out there that pans out. Anyone else feel this way?

Hello Kathleen. Welcome to myLot. I do make some earnings working at home online in my spare time. I don't make a couple of hundred dollars, but I make about fifty dollars a month. There are different ways on the internet. My favorite way is online writing, writing articles, short stories, reviews, commentaries, and so on. There are a number of writing sites. If you like writing, then you might try that. One of the sites where you can write brief reviews is "Review Stream".
Have a nice day !

Yes it is true that making money online can be a very difficult thing to do, there are some ways to generate making money, but it will take some time to do this. Smart hard work is the way to make money online, through trial and error this is the way to separate the real sites that pay on a weekly or monthly basis. You may like Associated Content, InboxBoxDollars.com, Triond to name a few. I believe that greenline has summed it up best - by spreading your self and talents around, I had to learn this the hard way, time management is the most important factor in making money online. Best of luck to you in 2010.

Hi,
there are many sites that you can look for and it can really make money. But for me, I dont really have that much a month yet. I used to but now that site won't work really good anymore.
some invest money to earn money and it really work out so well too.. try to look around and dont trust them at once yet, and dont pay for just to work for them... cuz they are a scam.

I'd love to answer that but I myself have run into plenty of scam sites. I still believe that there might be ways of making money from home (like you would) but finding them and actually doing those things successfully might be the hardest thing..
The easiest way to work from home would probably be a webpage designer or programmer.. or anything else that you can do from home.. but assuming that you meant more like.. well, joining a site and than doing some tasks to receive money.. errr, I don't know.. it would probably be better if you just found a real job..
Or else it might take too long to find the real site or sites that will earn you money.. at last as much as you would like to.. :s

I have a few websites you can visit if you'd like. NO AFFILIATIONS to any of them, I just use them for information, and one I do work for.
The two I check for jobs are ....www.ratracerebellion.com....and the other is...www.wahm.com...., both supply work at home jobs. The Wahm site you have to join but it's free, and you can go to the forums and see what everyone is talking about. Most of them work at home, and those jobs are available there.
The last one is a writing site, in case you're interested in writing articles, and it's called Textbroker. You can check out the website at ....www.textbroker.com....and it's a great site for new writers. I've already been paid 3 times, and they pay twice monthly.
Good luck and I hope you find what you're looking for!

I make about $100 a month with hard work and many times working at scam sites, like everyone else. I have a handful of no scam sites and I trade those with other people so that I can get a direst active downline. If I lived at the US it would be much easier and I could earn a lot more as there are many more opportunities for US residents.
Welcome to mylot. This site is fun and no scam, but you have to post, answer, comment and many other things to earn money here.

I make around 150-200 per month. It's not near enough to live by, but it helps a lot.
If you like to write then you should know there are some really great sites out there, where if you do a good job you get paid. For example, Helium or Im Report Card or Review Stream, they all pay you to write stuff. Helium is for more serious articles, on Im Report Card the focus is on Internet marketing stuff and on Review stream you can write reviews about anything you want.
If you put a little effort into it then you'll be able to make a couple hundred dollars
