Can you believe kids nowadays?

I was at my mums work today and I met one of the kids. She's 8. She told me that she has boyfriend that 11 ! That's three years ! And she's only 8! Seriously.. What do the kids now adays get up to? She's so young!
And then I asked her "what do you get up to with him?" And she told me "Sometimes we go to the park or we go out with out friends. We even kiss"
And I was like. OH MY GOD. She's 8 !!!!!!!
My first boyfriend I was 13 and I thought that was young. What do you think about it? Do you know other children like this?

My boyfriend has a nephew who is 6. He is already kissing girls. He kissed 3 girls in his class already. And no cheek kisses, on the lips. It is more accepted by our peers so that makes it okay. Not back years ago where if you kissed someone you were going to rot with Satan forever. Times change and so do people. But, yes, that is incredibly young. I had my first kiss in 6th grade, and my first boyfriend in 7th grade. I only kissed that first boyfriend on the cheek. I always took things slow. I guess it was good that guys scared the crap out of me as a young teen because I used to be so shy.

Yes, I'm not saying that its unacceptable, I just can't believe how fast these kids are growing now. I mean at this young age, they're already kissing and having boyfriends.. wow. Same here. I used to like guys but I was too shy to actually approach them and talk about it.

there are kids who relly like to make up stories, so i guess those are just stories that she loves to tell. i have two nephews and they love telling stories as well. most of the kinds who are like that needs or graves for attention. just my opinion. a lot of kids are like that now for most of their parents works and has no time to sit down and talk. my nephews parents are not at home all the time. their mom works abroad and their dad works from 7am up to 11pm or sometimes up to 12pm. sad to say that this is the reality of life.
