I am outta ideas. I like simple recipes, nothing too complicated with everyday ingredients. What have you got for me?

Pre-heat oven to 350*
Take a lb of hamburger, 2 boxes Mac and cheese( the kind with the chease in the foil pouch), 1 27 oz can or jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce, shredded mozarella cheese, shredded cheddar and shredded parmesan.
Fry hamburger, drain, add the spaghetti sause and warm thru and at same time cook Mac and cheese according to directions on box.
Mix all your shredded cheeses together in a bowl
When Mac and Cheese and hamburger/ sauce is done you can start putting the dish together .
In a baking pan or casserole dish layer a layer of sauce, a layer of mac and a cheese, sprinkle some shredded cheeses over it , repeat layers ending with shredded cheese, bake in pre heated oven just till shredded cheese is melted thru.
Let me know what you think..........

I saw on a Paula Deen's cooking show about she used ground beef to make Mock Filet Mignon. She seasoned the ground beef with salt and pepper and formed in thick, rounds (like thick filets). Then she wrapped the edges with bacon with the aid of a toothpick. She also suggested that you fill it with cheese in the center before you put on the bacon. Then you brown it in a saucepan and finish cooking it in the oven. It really looked like filet mignon.
I've made stuffed green pepper or stuffed cabbage with ground beef. THe filling is ground beef, cooked rice, some chopped veggies (onions, mushrooms,celery, carrots), and some bread crumbs. Salt and pepper, too. Hollow out some green peppers and steam them for about a couple of minutes. If using cabbage, separate the leaves (gently) and steam them until just pliable (not to the point of mushy). With the peppers, fill with the filling and place in a casserole dish. With cabbage, put some filling on a cabbage leave and roll like an egg roll; place in a casserole dish. Cover with a sauce, I use marinara, and cook in the oven.
Enjoy!

Chili's pretty simple;
Tomato sauce, kidney beans, onion, maybe some chili peppers if you've got 'em, plus red pepper and black pepper...and the ground beef and you're set.
It can be served with bread, over rice, or with noodles too.
I like making home made hamburger helped (which is basically a white sauce with cheese or tomato added, and noodles, plus browned hamburger), alot. Because it takes hardly any time to make.
I like making shepard's pie with it too. Which I basically just brown the beef, put it at the bottom of the pan (sometimes I brown it with onions and garlic), with a can of cream corn, instant mashed potatoes and gravy, and honey glazed carrots (cooked carrots with melted butter and honey drizzled over 'em)...all in layers in a pan and heated, pretty much...and it's very yummy.

Why not try Picadillo de Mais.
Saute garlic, onion and ground beef until the beef is already brown (out of blood color). Add water and let it boil. Then add chopped carrots (about the size of a corn kernel) and whole corn kernel. Add salt and pepper to taste then let it simmer until the carrots and corn have been cooked. Enjoy while hot.
