My bf always asks me to watch UFC on tv. He and his friends love to watch it and knows a lot about it. Maybe it's a man thing. I just don't show my disgust everytime he asks me to watch with him or with his friends because he might get disappointed, now I don't know how to reject his invitations and not to hurt his feelings. What should I do?

Here is what I do.
My husband loves to take over the tv. He doesn't like to watch anything I like to watch so he changes the channels on me. I have a computer in the same room. So when ever he takes over the tv, I am on my computer. I am still in the same room as my husband but at least I am still entertaining myself and I don't have to watch shows he likes to watch.
Could be an idea for you.

Just tell your bf straight and frank that you don't like the show. This is a test of honesty, how can you become more honest in more serious matters if that little concern of yours remains as a secret in your bf's knowledge. For sure he will appreciate you and will understand. Its just a waste of time watching shows we can't appreciate right? Or if he insist, then use what you have been watching to knock and wake him up for being too selfishly romantic.

Just straight up tell him that you don't want to watch it with him because it's not that interesting to you. If that's the case anyway. He will probably give you grief because,"UFC is the best show ever!" or some crap like that... But that doesn't matter. He will get over it sooner or later.
