Do you think love can be measured?

Some people believe that love can be measured by the persons willingness to give and sacrifice for the sake of the person they love. Do you think love should be measured? or true love doesn't not need any measurement as it's given unconditionally. What do you think?

I think true love can't be measured. It is everything. It is all or nothing. No one talks about a little true love or a lot of true love. either you feel it or you don't . Once you do, it takes over everything in your life in a good way. One shouldn't waste time trying to measure love , one should just enjoying feeling it.

Yeah, love should be felt and enjoy completely. But since we have different interpretation of love and way of showing it, there could be differences. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

No I do not think that love can be measured. I have heard this before,"When you truly love someone, I mean truly love someone, and you constantly fight and disagree and things like that... When is it that you should throw in the towel. When do you say,'Enough is enough'?"
And the answer to that:
If you truly truly love someone that deeply... the answer is Never.
I truly believe this and I definitely follow it.

I similarly agree with you on this point of view as to love can never bemeasured of so. You cannot tell as to how much you love someone in words or in any other words you cannot describe it. How much you love or fight constantly you will not be able to live without him his essence will be felt. True love is all about giving and never about taking. You or i can never further describe love or even measure through words of so

Yeah, love is unfathomable, true love has no boundaries and limitations, it can reach as far as heaven. But there are some people who would often said, that if you love me, you should give me this and that, if you love me you should change your ways, or if you love me give up your career and life. It's like as if love has measurement. Which is not good. If you truly love the person, there should be no conditions or whatever that will show the love. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your weekends!

Unconditional love can only be received by God. Everyone puts a condition on love weather it be in order to know that person loves you - the other person must say i love you , or hug you in the morning or some people believe that giving someone a small item everyday is a way of showing love. You are correct, true love need not be measured but no love comes without some kind of condition. I love my hubby and have for 22 years but my love had a condition that he not cheat. He did and I forgave him. I had to change my exceptation. That was over 17 years ago and we are still going strong and no he hasn't done it again.

love cant be measured friend.we ourself don't know how much we love our parents,our relatives,our friends.love is the only thing that cant be measured.
