Not hired after 8 months, help!!!

I've been applying for a job for eight months now and I still haven't been hired. It's getting very frustrating, and I'm starting to wonder what I'm doing wrong. Can you help me? I'm B.S. B.A. graduate, 37 years old, computer technician.

My degree is Bachelor of Science major in Management. The type of job i am applying for are Office staff, HR etc.I have knowledge on Computer Technician w/c i can also apply for an I.T.I know also how to program like Visual Basic And the like but it's hard to find a job now a days??
