Hamsters are omnivores they eat both meat and vegies and fruits.
Hamsters can eat strawberries but make sure not to feed it to much, since it is very sour and can hurt the hamsters health. Pears, i'd say cut them into little small peices just incase. Biscuits sure but not to many since they are human food and make sure they are not sugary. Though there is always a safe alternative to fruits, vegies, and biscuits/snacks. For snacks i would usually feed it butter free/calorie free popcorn and maybe a couple rat food(yes hamsters can eat rat food, for they are much alike). Vegies are fine for hamsters from what i know hamsters enjoy corn.( I currently 10 hamsters. 2 of them gave birth) Bread worms or meal worms as they call them is a healthy nutritious food for hamsters. I would feed it 2 or 3 of them to my hamster daily. On daily basis i would feed my hamster corn on a popsickle the corn is nutritious and the popsickle is to keep their teeth sharp. A couple of meal worms or bread worms to take care of their health. A couple of snacks( rat food, mini little critter treats).
