currently, this is the list of wwe rosters who have thrown their hat into the royal rumble:1. john cena 2. triple h 3. shawn michaels 4. shelton benjamin 5. ted dibiase jr 6. cody rhodes 7. yoshi tatsu 8. mvp 9. the miz 10. william regal 11. kofi kingston 12. mark henry 13. zack ryder 14. jack swagger 15. big show 16. the hurricane 17. evan bourne 18. carlito 19. santino marella this is the list that is at wwe.com. i think other wrestling sites have a more complete list but irregardless, i think this is a good list altogether. however, similar to what happened last year when rvd returned to the royal rumble as a surprise entrant, who do you want it to be plus what part does that wrestler play in the royal rumble? it could be any wrestler or hall of famer, if you can choose one or two or three, who will that/they be?as for me, i love to see edge come back and eliminate jericho and this starts a feud between the two and this leads to a match at wrestlemania. another surprise entry i want to see is big di@k johnson who would provide comic relief and eventually eliminate either the miz or jack swagger. that would be fun to watch. lol! and lastly, i know it's been awhile but i love to see jbl back in the ring and surprise everyone. remember, jbl had a great title run as a champion in smackdown and he was a very good heel so him showing up at the royal rumble to eliminate those that challenged him for the title and lost would be great.

First of all I have to agree with the fact that Edge coming into the Rumble le will be absolutely great. I can't wait to see him wrestle and be a great heel again. Also for Edge to destroy Jericho's chances to win the Rumble will be even better, since I really want to see a ladder or even a TLC match between these two at Wrestlemania. Another scenario that I'd really like would be that Vince and The Hitman to appear as surprise wrestlers in the Rumble. It will be also a nice build up for the Wrestlemania. Regarding JBL, he was indeed a great heel and a great wrestler. I'd like to see him back someday.

great additions there in my opinion, bret 'the hitman' hart and vince himself. really great to see both be part of the royal rumble. kinda see how the thing will sort itself out, vince will come in at number 29 with a mic in hand and before going into the ring, he calls out his security men/goons and there are a lot of them and some of them surround the ring while the others get inside the ring and toss out the remaining superstars one by one until no one is left and the ring is cleared of any wrestlers. the security men drag the wrestlers that they toss out of the ring outside the building. vince strides to the ring with an evil smirk to his face. he eagerly waits for entry number 30. the music of santino is heard and out comes the italian stallion, santino. santino and vince are in cahoots and santino is motioning that he will let vince toss him over the ring. before santino reaches the ring out comes bret hart from the crowd and bret makes quick work of santino. bret gets in the ring and as vince charges at him bret pulls down the top rope and vince topples over the rope and hits the floor. bret is declared the winner of the royal rumble and this sets up a nice title match between bret and undertaker. just my thoughts.

WOW! That'll be great indeed. To see The Hitman go after The Undertakear's streak at Wrestlemania. Probably if he wouldn't have his terrible back problems this could have happened. But considering his back I think that Bret would only wrestle Vince and most probably in a street fight which is less demanding in terms of jumping from the ropes and other normal in-ring moves. But I have to say that your thoughts are great.

Edge returning would be good I think. I read somewhere that he might not make it back for Wrestlemania however. Then again, they said that John Cena would be out six more months when he returned in 2008 and look what happened. So you can never believe everything you read. Edge returning would be the most obvious surprise. Personally for surprises, I want to see the return of the man, the myth, the legend, the icon....Barry Horowitz. I doubt that is going to happen but there have been weird entries. My second choice for somewhat not so serious choices for entertainment value would be Rodney of the Mean Street Posse. That or Mike Knox's beard becomes an entity all to itself and wins the Royal Rumble.

mean street posse... what a blast from the past!!! another surprise entry i want to see is viscera. i imagine that he would be such a big wrestler to contend with literally and he would toss the superstars one by one over the rope and win the royal rumble. of course, needless to say, he would go after the title of taker at wrestlemania. that would be a great match indeed.

Hi allen, I have stopped watching wrestling on tv since probably the early 80's. You know that infamous day called August 21, 1983? Well, my friends and I were holders of front row tickets for wrestling bouts at the Araneta Coliseum. We were about to leave the home when the newscast announced the tragic arrival of Benigno Aquino at the Manila International Airport. Our parents reprimanded us from seeing the all stars wrestling. What a disappointment but Ninoy's assassination was even more heartbreaking. I was in denial, even if I knew the man only from obscure news reports. But I got to view wrestling some years after, also at the Araneta. I got even more frustrated as I viewed my then favorites showing practiced and predictable moves. Sigh! Wrestling was over for me. Every now and then though, when I surf the channels, I see some action from that Shawn Michaels, Battista, and so on. Those guys are up to give multi million dollar stunts and rumbling talk. Enjoy while they lasted. They've got royal maneuvers, ha ha.

I feel that this royal rumble is predictable. It is so obvious that the WWE are putting up Shawn Michaels for the win in order for the Undertaker VS. HBK showdown in Wrestlemania. I think in the end it will HBK vs. HHH in the last minutes of the rumble and HBK will take the win. I agree with you though about the whole Edge thing but I would want Chris Jericho to be a face again but somehow I think in this Royal Rumble, there will be a Chris Jericho - Big Show confrontation because the WWE is very fond of putting former tag team partners in a rivalry.

If we talk about tag team partners to go one after another, I think that it will be very interesting to see what HBK and Triple H will do since in the last Raw episode Triple H kind of let HBK know that he must go over him in the Rumble. Also all this discussion about HBK winning might put WWE into the position to do something unpredictable. And this will be great news.

I'd love to see Edge return as a special entry in the Rumble. I'd also love to see Rob Van Dam make an apperance (much like last year's Rumble). Even if Edge is not cleared to wrestle, he could come though the crowd and eliminate or distract Jericho. Although it would never happen, what if Randy Savage returned as a surprise entrant?
