I remember when I was a kid, I love to eat spinach cos Popeye eats it too.
And thinking that I would be strong and powerful like him when I eat me spinach, I grew to like the green as a result.
Now that I think back, it is quite hilarious. But I did get the benefit of eating a good green as a result.
TV characters these days are no longer so innocent. But that is another topic altogether.
Have any of you ever got so awed by a cartoon character, or any TV character, so much so that you try to emulate him/her by eating the same things they eat?
Dress the same way they do?
Or even talk and behave the same way they do?

Hello!
My brother was the one who was cartoon crazy growing up, and I would just sit there haha wanting to watch what I wanted to watch. He loved Popeye and would flex his muscles and make the gagaga noise he did . He also wanted the spinach and I rememeber my parents looking all over for it in the can . When they made it for him he hated it! I think the fresh kind is so much better. He also used to love ducktails and wore the body splash , and had this little whistle or something and would annoy the heck out of me. I am sure many kids take on the part of their favorite cartoon , and that can be cute!

lol =D I do like pop eye, when i was a kid too!! BEcause of his muscles, and his manly-ness.. lol =D
He's really cute, but not his wife though.. hehe ^_^ However, that cartoon only inspired me to wanna be as strong like me, but never ever inspired me to touch any greenies at all.. lol =D
Cartoons characters will always be awed by others, by we will never really follow them, all the way.. hehe
