Oh I miss Philippines too! Planning to go for a holiday on March, hopefully. No matter where we go, it feels really HOME when you are really HOME!

Hey take it easy...you could go gaga over it. Try to have as many as possible, they'll ease the longing at least. I'm sure you'll get over it on no time. I think Saudi Arabia is the place where there's the most number of OFWs. You just have to learn to look and take care of each other over there.

Yes, its terrible when one has to leave the family and go to some foreign country to earn more money. But all foreign nations are not the same…Saudi Arabia I’ve heard is a specially strict country so you should be careful about the rules and regulations. But why is it that you haven’t seen the moon?

I could relate with your sentiments. It's hard to be away for so long. day by day, things here in the Philippines change. Pinoy movies are improving. banancues still taste great. there's no place like Philippines. =)

Aw, it's okay! My Ninang is in Riyadh, too. We voice chat a lot, so we would feel as though we were never away from each other. :) Wish you the best there!

There are many things you will really miss in your own native land when you are in another country. my husband is also not in the country and he is missing many delicious Filipino food. he will be going home soon and I am sure he will let me cook his favorite Filipno style caldereta and adobo.

Well dear, I feel for you. Indeed there is no place like the Philippines. This is the reason why I am contented here and will never work or migrate to any other country. I understand those who go out of the country to work though. Life is tough and every one has to earn a living by whatever possible means provided it is legal. Saudi Arabia is rich in gold and oil but Philippines is still comparatively beautiful that Saudi Arabia. And people here don't have stinking underarms too although there are some few actually (ha!ha!ha!) I know you will really miss the Philippines so dear work hard there, earn as much money as you can so that when you return you will have the capital to start your own small scale business so that there would be no more need for your to go back to Saudi Arabia again. The soon and the moon shine abundantly in their respective time here in the Philippines. I think I will never exchange that for the gold and oil that Saudi Arabia is enriched with. Tagalog movies you can always watch in the TFC channel actually. Well of course your family you can never fail to miss really but do get an internet connection so that you can chat and see them online during your day off or during the night. The banana cue then just forget about it if they are expensive in Saudi Arabia. Just eat lots of dates there anyway dates are also sweet. Now regarding the Pork, pata, chicharon I think you should not miss that and be thankful that in Saudi Arabia you can no longer eat much of that. Those are harmful to your health. It will kill your life too soon actually. Maybe you know what I mean because you know that too much cholesterol can kill you.Ha!ha!ha!
