ice cream plus cold weather, anyone?

Hi, athinapie. You are not the only one. I have some ice cream in my freezer right now. I just bought an ice cream cake just the other day from Walmart. I love to eat ice cream whether it is cold or not. I usually will eat it when I am in the warm temperature at home. I never go outside to eat ice cream especially when it is cold. You should be okay, just as long as you eat it indoors where it is very warm. And if you are cold after eating your ice cream, just allow your body to warm up by some heat.

I don't care if it is freezing cold, if I want ice cream, I eat ice cream. I see no reason to think that eating ice cream in Winter or in cold weather would make one sick. Do you think eating a hot meal in the Summer would make you sick? I really doubt it. I've even had eating ice cream actually warm me up when I was really cold.

You wont fall sick…eating ice-cream in the cold does not make you sick. On the contrary I’ve heard that having ice-cream in the summer can make kids sick coz of the extreme heat outside and the cold food being taken! Oh yes, sometime we do crave for strange food but that’s OK….I hope you enjoyed your ice-cream. BTW I don’t like vanilla, butterscotch with pralines is my fav!

I don't care if its cold, rainy, or hot outside if I crave ice cream I go and buy some or eat some if I got it. Personally I love chocolate mix and different cheese cake flavor ice cream, but I am trying to cut back in buying and eating ice cream and making fruit flavor Popsicle s instead. because Popsicle s are healthier to eat and they are still cold like ice cream. Orange juice Popsicle s are my favorite.

I love ice cream at all times! Even in winter. And so many people do. At my work, we have a canteen and even in the middle of January in Canada, tons of people still walk out with an ice cream cone. And really, the ice cream itself won't make you sick. Germs are what make people sick. Unless someone sneezed in your ice cream, you should be alright. Maybe just make a little extra effort to stay warm, wear a sweater or something, and keep your immune system up, you should be fine (I hope). Cheers! and enjoy your ice cream :)

Yes, cold, windy, rainy weather plus ice cream is fun. I don't get sick. But I haven't done it lately. I used to with my girlfriends and cousins. During one stormy weather we all went out with sweaters on and short shorts and ate ice cream on the boulevard facing the sea where the wind was howling. LOL Staying at home while watching TV and eating ice cream while the weather outside is raging is nice.

I was in Venice and it was cold. I entered in a restaurant. The waiter put a special heater near me to keep me warm and to his surprise, I ordered ice cream. I love eating ice cream even on winter. I don't think it makes you sick.
