Do you like diamonds?

I like delicate smallish diamonds. I think they are beautiful, in fact...stylish and classy. I also like sapphires and rubies. Again, though, in smallish tasteful sizes. I don't have many of these, but a few rings and earrings. The rest is "costume" jewelry. Karen

hi kaka! Diamonds are so expensive! but it's pretty and nice! I would love to have it, especially if it's for free. hihi! But if I got some doughs, I honestly don't put my money in buying diamonds or anything with diamonds because its really pricey. I'd choose "swarovski" crystals over it because, it is almost same as diamonds but more affordable and I find it more beautiful.

my wife is not the type to of liking such expensive things like that. she are more into kitchen utensils, microwavable wares and things that is used in the kitchen. even we are still bf/gf she went abroad to work and the things she bought there are kitchen wares, kitchen utensils and things that you use at home. maybe there are women who loves diamonds specially if they can afford to buy one.... or their partner can afford to buy one. in our case we cant.

I would rather not have diamonds. Why? Because I can't (or any guy I know) afford the nice cuts that make the gem so very pretty. So I would go for an opal, topaz or something along those lines. Amethests are lovely as well. All those natural gems. My great-great grandparents named their children after gems such as Ruby and Opal.

Diamonds are beautiful, hard to alter, shine brilliantly, difficult to obtain, expensive and last forever and when a man gives diamonds to a woman it means he really cares for her. Why else would he spend that kind of money?

Hi kaka135, I am so happy to know that I am not crazy now. Not unless we both are. All of my friends love diamonds and love to show them off. They think I'm odd because I don't care for them. Give me an Onyx, sapphire, aquamarine etc., and I'm the happiest woman alive. A diamond I'm just like thanks you shouldn't have ( and I truly mean they shouldn't have) I can't explain why I don't like them besides the fact that such a fuss is over them. They are very pricey and to me just don't make the same statement as a precious stone. Maybe its that Cherokee Indian in me that prefers stones to gems. Maybe its the clear color? What ever the case, I just don't like them and the family knows it.

I do like SOME diamond pcs but I'm actually far more fond of sapphires and amethysts to be honest with you...and Amber...I'm not a huge fan of standard jewelry really..I like unique and totally (or at least partially) uncommon pcs.

I like shiny things and diamonds are definitely shiny. But they are so expensive! I don't have any of them, I can think of better things to spend my money on but if the prices were the same as for rhinestones I'd have a lot of them!

i dont really care for them but im not a jewelry person.. it makes me think of people that are shallow though when they say "diamonds are a girls best friend" etc.. but maybe if i liked jewelry more i would see it different

Diamonds glitter and they make a face look lovelier if one is in a party. Unlike other stones, diamonds brings more elegance.

What's that song . . . diamonds are a girl's best friend . . . hee hee. I like diamonds, but I don't feel strongly about them. I like some jewelry, but diamonds aren't necessarily my favorite. I don't know why they are prized . . . I would be just as happy if someone gave me some funky piece of jewelry . . . I like the fun accessories. I think if I had a big diamond, I would be more worried about losing it - like you said, it's pricey!

i'm not fond of jewelery,including diamond.i even only have two gold rings which are my wedding ring that i have to wear :) actually, i'm not interesting in diamond or jewelery at all.

Yes i do like diamonds its because i feel diamond are worth to spend for, i even purchase a gold, pearl and white gold but i don't feel like wearing them unless for some event.I have bought my diamond ring and my diamond bangles and i feel i want to wear them not feeling to take them out for almost 4 years now.Its a feeling for something you love for, its a kind of materials just like just clothes,furniture or maybe a kind of cosmetics you like to wear it in your body, its not a feeling being rich is a feeling to keep something you like..Diamond is nothing actually when you don't feel like wearing them, i'm wearing diamond because i feel happy with it. Oh my! I love diamonds very much. They are indeed pricey and I really save money just to buy them. My husband often gives me jewelries as well. I have a lot of them before but I have to sell them. You see, my friend cheated me and did not pay me US$40,000.00 and I loaned the amount from various loans and credit cards. I need to sell my jewelries just to pay them off. I still owe a lot and it is a good thing that I earn online at home now to have savings. It is not yet big but it is growing. Hopefully, God-willing and if everything goes well, my online income will be huge by December 2010. I can buy newer jewelries especially my beloved Diamonds! Who knows! I might buy them soon directly in Hong Kong! I pray to God for that.

Diamonds are lovely stones that make wonderful accents around colored stones such as rubies, emeralds and sapphires! I'm not particularly into diamonds all by themselves!

I believe, using diamond requires special effects and one should wearparticular diamond suiting to her stars. It is also heard that dimonds are used to fullfill some aims. I have no such experiences. If I wasn't a woman who had a birthday in April, then I don't think that I would like diamonds the way that I do today. I don't own a lot of diamonds because of the fact that they are so expensive. I have two pairs of diamond stud earrings, my engagement ring and wedding band and one diamond pendant necklace. I don't like to ask for more of them because of the fact that I simply think they are too expensive. I would almost rather have any birthstone other than the one that I've got.

I like diamonds but I like rubies more. Rubies are full of mystery and wonder. Diamonds we can see right through. Diamonds get that girls best friend thing because they are expensive and as a woman we are suppose to like expensive stones. I also really like saphires. sorry about the spelling. I were diamonds and rubies. The rubies to make the diamonds not so boring.

I like artifical jewellary as you can change more often but some women love diamonds dear kaka have you not heard of the Bond title song Diamonds are forever may be some women like them as they are a status symbol in our society.

Hmm same with you. i do not find it interesting. Maybe because I'm not into jewelries. As much as possible I want to be simple.
