I've been a member with them for quite awhile, but never did anything with them until recently (when I figured out how to get some free listing credits for the site) I listed a few items and waited....and waited, but no sales.
I started running the listings on a couple exchanges and just before the holidays, one of my items sold! They informed me when they received payment and I shipped the item, received my money...and everything went smooth.
Last week, I started running the ads for the remaining two items on the exchanges and this week received notice that someone made a counter offer (only $1 less than than my stated price) which I accepted...I'm sooo happy to see that this site really works and they just recently sent me an email stating their site is going to expand in all different directions, giving members many opportunities to make even more money with them. I found out the other day that I can advertise other people's items and make a percentage if the item sells.
Does anyone else use this site to sell unwanted items? Have you made sales using the site?

Congrats on your sale. I briefly looked into this site the other day but didn't take the time to check out the details. I have several craft items I would like to sell but am looking for a simple site to list these items. Was looking through Craigslist but don't think that's such a good idea for my items. I have some crafts inside the house and some in the garage in storage bins. Am not very organized. What site, other than Etsy, do you think is a good place to start? Thanks for any information you can offer.
Much success,

Thanks. It really was quite simple. Easy to list items and then they emailed me to let me know the item sold, told me when to ship and when my money was available. Plus the free listing credits are a great feature
Thanks for participating in the thread!

It is a fairly new program, probable less than two years old. But it does seem to be growing in popularity.
If you take a look and like what you see, I can send you a link that includes a free listing credit. Join with the link and I can also show you where you can earn another bunch of listing credits for free (I'm pretty sure it's 50 credits)
Even if you only sell an item or two, the listings won't cost you any money...free is good! Thanks for responding!

It really isn't an auction site. It's more of a site to sell items that you no longer want, or overstock items/closeouts, etc. The site allows you to keep your item listed until it sells or you remove the listing. It also allows you to place a set price, offer a % off your listed price and even allow potential buyers to make offers that you can either accept or decline.
They are about to expand their program further and they expect to add thousands of new members each month during 2010 and beyond. At the very least, TC seems to be another decent site to buy/sell quality merchandise.
Thanks for responding!

Okay, thanks. I sold two items in excess of $50 each. It cost me nothing, so at this point, it's working for me. I guess I'll see how it works out over the next several months.
Thanks for your response!
