Do you ever just wonder what some people look like when you're talking to them?

I know I do. I talk to people from different states. They're my customers. Some of them send pictures after we've talked for a while, and they are usually nothing like I pictured. I'll talk to an italian from Pennsylvania and he sounds like Mafia, all laid back in his office chair and I get a picture, and he' tall, light skinned, glasses. NOTHING like I pictured. Do you do that?

Hi Chrystaltears, I do this all the time. Usually Im wrong about what they might look like and when I finally get a picture, OMG...nothing like I expected. Sometimes its great, other times....!! I always get a picture in my mind of the person Im chatting with. Same for here, I look at the avatar and from the way they say things, I get a mental picture in my mind. I bet Im totally wrong too haha.

Look at my profile and see if you pictured me the way I look. PS, I don't like my photo. When its larger, I actually look better. Shrinked up I look goofy.

That's true too. I look at alot of profiles out of curiosity to see what they look like and what age group they are cause sometimes I can tell from what some are talking about that they must be much younger than me cause I can't always relate.

that sounds about right. sometimes you never know the true identity of another online. unless ofcourse you have already met them in person. or even on the phone. it is hard to tell from a long distance which someone will be known well enough to be recognized.

Well, I speak mostly to people in power positions on the phone, unless someone takes a message from me. Lots of times, I expect big people from the big voices, but most of the time it's not so.
