Who do you think plays the major role ? A doctor or an engineer ?

After the WWII, Japan's economy was devastated. But thanks to the help of their Engineers that they've been able to bounced back and become one of the major player towards the latest technology today. If Japan did not focused on their Engineer's talents, they could never reached the success today. Doctors had its important role too, but I think its the Engineers who has the bigger role in the society.

I thin engineers play major role in the society, world is advancing because of technology, even medical field has drastically changed due to technology. Doctors cant even test the patient without devices made by engineers, even the needle of syringe is made by engineers. Machines such as X-rays, MRI, CT scan, dialysis, ECG, Ultrasound sensors, Sphygmomanometers, Argon enhanced coagulation units etc etc etc have revolutionized medical field. In short doctors have to depend on engineers. Engineers also plays a major role in Communication(internet, telephone, fax etc), Transportation, Aviation, etc fields. Engineers really plays very important role in the society.
