hey all,
need your help mainly to the uk guys and girls on here
my brother trained as an electrician but has been out of it for about 7 years so the question anyone know how or what he can do or who to contact to bring his skills back upto the present level

he should be open to do some trainings or apprenticeship in a known electrical contractor/ company. in US we have who has ths kind of program.

The DirectGov website maybe? His local Jobcentre could - maybe - point him in the right direction regarding retraining. It all depends on how old he is. If he's over 30 he may find it more difficult as the government are concentrating on getting the 16-24 year olds back into work. Hope this helps.
