I dont really know what it is about them, but when I was young I fell in love with orange cats! They just look so cuddly. I used to think: if I had a cat he would be orange and white with lots of stripes and green eyes....and now I do!
What colours are your cats?

I once had an orange and white cat named Thomas. My sister and brother each had an orange tiger like cat. Right now, I have a solid black cat that has one white tuft of fur at the bottom of her belly.
We really don't know what breed she is. My sister found her as a stray, gave her to our other sister, who then gave the cat to me. She has very long silky fur, but she's not a Persian, since she doesn't have that pushed in face. We think she might be part Angora and part Ragdoll, since she goes limp and likes to have her belly rubbed.
I'd do a DNA test if I could afford it.
Oh yes, she also acts like a dog at times. She will sit, lay down, and even 'speak' (meow). Weird, eh? Though she doesn't always do these things. Only when there's food involved. And I didn't teach her the sit and lay down. We're assuming she learned off the dogs.

hahahaha learned off the dogs...thats priceless. It's funny what they're smart enough to pick up on.

I have an orangeish white taby named precious, and a dark and tan cat named Chinia. Both of them look real cute. I think orange cats have the most tame personalities. At least the two ones I had. But I love cats no matter the color, but that's what I have.

I've heard that too about the personalities of orange cats. I completely agree with it too, because Toby is such a suck.

Pretty much you name it - I don't have the "classic" calico - but I have 2 tortoiseshell cats - not a drop of white on them any place.
I have 5 orange/buff cats - and in exactly the percentages you might expect if 80% or orange cats are male - 4 males 1 female. I have 5 black cats 4 female 1 male. I have a gray - or "blue" cat (tho technically the color is considered a dilute black), a white cat, 2 Siamese pointed cats - one with "mittens", 3 black and white cats 2 female 1 male, and the rest are brown tabbies, 2 solid brown tabbies the others with white spotting.
as you can tell, I have WAY too many cats!
