You like talking to strangers, who likes to talk on the bus, to supermarkets, to make conversation in a subway station, just to chat?
I don t say about peoples who just ask you a question about an adress or about something what he don t know; just about people who start to talk about kids, shopping, prices, life in general.

Hi icesmile:
I believe one can learn a lot talking to people. If I'm in a waiting room, on the cashier's line or anywhere that I have to stay a while, I talk to people. Some times they share their problems, or express their opinion about politics, cars, movies, music, and usually I get nice topics for my blogs and articles. I collect all the information I can from everybody and everywhere.

it depends on their demeanor i mean if they seem harmless or they just want someone to listen then i will listen until it comes time gor me to go or to do whatever i was in that particular place to do. I mean you never know maybe just by listening you may have made them feel like you are the first to care and you could potentially have brightened up the rest of their day.

Hi, Ice!
I'm basically very shy, but I won't ignore someone who speaks directly to me. Yes, it is a lovely day. You can find this in aisle number ---. Yes, I've tried it before, and I like it. No, they don't double coupons here.
It's really never anything of consequence; just passing the time of day with a smile!

Hey icesmile! I do talk to people sometimes on the bus or in
supermarkets if they start talking to me! I am usually just
being polite! I don't have a problem speaking to strangers, at
least most of the time! There are times that I get some crazy
people who want to talk to me on the bus and I can't stand that!
I will sometimes actually have to get up and change my seat if
I can and the bus isn't crowded! But, most of the time it is
nice to carry on a conversation! There are times that I am not
really in the mood to talk and I try to be polite! But, that is
just what you have to do when you are out in public! I don't
like to be mean!

I always pay attention to people who just want to talk no matter where I am. Sometimes people need to just get things off their chest and really don't have anyone to just listen. It is amazing how much personal information a person will tell to perfect strangers.

it depends on the topic of the conversation. If it's just regular talk, that's fine, but if it's inappropriate (I had a guy try and flirt with me on a bus) then I will not engage in such conversation. When that happened, I switched busses. I got off the bus downtown, and ran to another bus that was also going to my destination, which also happened to be driven by a friend of mine. When the guy realized that I knew the driver, he dind't try and follow me on the bus.

If someone wants to talk, I'm willing to listen to them and to add appropriate comments.
