Chevez the man we all love to hate and laugh at just came out with another duzzy.
He is blaming the US for CAUSING the earthquakes in Haiti. Venezuela's state TV claims the disaster in Haiti was caused by U.S. test of experimental shockwave system that can also create 'weather anomalies. He also says we can create "weather anomalies to cause floods, droughts and hurricanes."
Wow....he really thinks we control alot and have super human powers doesn't he? I dont know wether be flattered that he thinks we could accomplish such a thing and control the weather....or affended that he thinks we would actually do that to poor Haiti. I mean come on...if we could do it...wouldn't we use it against the terrorist instead of Haiti?
Does that mean our own government caused Katrina? There is a new conspiracy theory for you....thanks to Chevez.
So come one..tell me what you think of this one? Does this man just enjoy making himself look like an idiot in front of the world or what?

I am going to assume he is talking about H.A.A.R.P. the "High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program". Lots of controversy over this one, huge conspiricy surrounding it. Don't buy most of it as it isn't really based in demonstrable science. The facility (which isn't even really a government facility) states as it's function "to explore and to understand natural phenomena occurring in the Earth's ionosphere and near-space environment. Information derived from this research will have major value in the design of future communication and navigation systems for both military and civilian use."
There are Those who claim HAARP can cause siesmic waves, based on the thechnology Tesla was working that HAARP is very very loosely based on, based more on how it works rather than what it did. It is also claimed that by bending the ionosphere (which it can do to a small degree) they can use this to manipulate and aim air and weather patterns to produce storms. Again though, the science just doesn't add up in that theory.
Chavez...is a lout...a Bafoon. I seriously believe the man suffered brain damage at an early age.

Here is a bit more on the area of research HAARP is involved in
The research to be conducted at HAARP falls into two broad categories:
1. The study of basic natural processes that occur in the ionosphere under the natural but much stronger influence of solar interaction. This includes studying how the natural ionosphere affects radio signals with the goal of developing techniques that may be available for mitigating these effects to improve the reliability and/or the performance of communication and navigation systems.
2. Development of technology to use effects produced through ionospheric interactions. One example of this is learning how to generate new signals in the ELF range for the real application of subsurface communications.

Wow....thanks for the info...I did not know about that. But I still doubt we are at a stage were we can cause something like what happened in Haiti.
I have come to the conclusion that either Chevez is a fame *hore and will say and do ANYTHING for a little media press. I mean as long as poeple are talking about you it does not matter if what they are saying is good or bad.....right?
Or he knows he will not be in power much longer so he is getting a start on his next career move...stand up comic.

The old saying is right... absolute power is corrupting him absolutely.
The good he has done for the poorest of his country is lost in the continual bouts of his paranoia and mania. So sad.

who in their right mind would even believe him? I would be scared of the world leaders that WOULD believe him. He makes himself look like a fool.
I know some of our presidents have done some stupid things and said some stupid things...but this one takes the cake. The poeple of his country have got to think he is an international embarrassement..

Do you honestly think he believes what he said? Or is he just trying to get attention by saying stupid things?

So, I guess this means that he and likely some other true nutcases believe the u.s. is responsible for just about all evils that occur.. Talk about the human tendency toward the blame game/bigotry! Wow. Even some in our own country really do believe we are the great white devil..
- We prospered and were productive so must be evil, because not all others have.. it couldn't possibly be the freedom allowed citizens to aspire and be productive as opposed to dictators and thugs stifling the citizenry and, or all 'production' being state owned, nope, has to be nefarious.. But I agree, this one reaLLy takes the cake! It'd be funny if it wasn't so insulting.. and yah, why Haiti? Unless it's to use up millions of tax dollars (which no, I do not begrudge). [But there is, I believe, a 'conspiracy' to overtax in order to collapse our system as put forth and made popular by the activists "Cloward and Piven" in 1966 as an alternative after the Watts riots in '65.]

This guy has too much time on his hands if he can sit around thinking up this crazy stuff. I still have not decide if we should be insulted or not. I mean it is flattering that he thinks we have the technology to do that....insulting to think we would NOT use it on terrorists if we could do it. Why Haiti...what have htey ever done to us? It is beyond stupid. Someone needs to keep that man away from the news cameras.

Don't EVER think a stupid person can't say anything stupider...lol! There are limits to a lot of things, but one thing there will never be a limit of is stupidity! That's one "natural resource" we'll never run out of and it's clearly plentiful all around the world.
