Sometimes if i want to see some new movies i'd like to see some reviews. One of reasons to reviewing the movie is that if any audience wants to go to a movie, they like to know some details of the movie and some various factors that increase the expectations and some camera behind works. And some of the important news related to starring cast, the back ground music and inspirations to the film and visual effects and various other reasons are very important to review the movies. If I think it is interesting i will consider to see the movie. How about you? Do you like to see review before see a movie?

I like to look at the reviews but I don't totally trust them either. If they are consistent, like everyone is saying the same thing either good or bad, then I know there is some truth to the review. But most reivews are mixed because people's opinions are so varied. I know if I would like the movie based on the actors in it and the movie trailors but it is fun to see what others are saying to get a different angle.

Hi Kevin!
I don't rely on reviews even if it was done by a pro. I watch the trailer of the movie though and also the making so that I will know a little background regarding it. The reason I don't rely on reviews is because different people have different taste in everything. I'd rather see it for myself before I judge it. It is the same thing as a book. Most people when the book is boring at the start will no longer continue reading it. I don't. No matter how boring the book or the movie is at the start I finish reading and watching it. Most of the time things get exciting and interesting in the middle and last part. There are some movies and books though that are exciting and interesting at the start but then the middle and last part gets boring.

I always scout around to find information on a movie before I watch it and think reviews are a great way of helping you decide, well I would as I write movie reviews and have my own website. The thing is it's important to find a reviewer who shares your opinion on most movies so that you can turn to the as a reliable source when it comes to deciding what to watch. If you just go with the first random opinion you find you could quite easily end up hating the movie.

Sometimes I like to see the reviews on wheter it is a good movie or not. But at other times I would like to just find out for myself if the movie is any good or not. I guess it is the suspense I like.

Better to watch it rather than depending on other people's review. One's treasure may be garbage to others (and vice-versa). I would rather check the personalities behind the making of the film like the actors, directors, producers and the like. Good quality movies often comes from well known personalities. At least that the majority of it. But some do have poor quality.

Always, unless it's a Pixar film
It is now so easy on the internet to get a number of opinions. I remember when the first Home Alone movie came out. It came out the same time an "Elm Street" movie did. Then we only had a paper, and one reviewer. He gave bad marks to "Home Alone" and honors to "Elm Street." I never relied on that paper again, after seeing both movies.

As someone who writes movie reviews I certainly hope that people like to read them. I think they are very good because sometimes the commercials are not really clear about what the movie is about so when you read a review you can find out what a movie is actually about, and there have been times where I have read or seen a review and I have become interested in a movie that I was not previously interested in.
