do you shop at the walmart? whats your opinion on walmart?

I do shop at Walmart sometimes but don't like them very much. The quality of their merchandise is poor. It is just the electronics. I have bought towels and kitchen appliances from them. In two weeks the towel fabric was getting strings on it. I once bought a coffee pot from them. Took it home and opened the box and found a piece broken. Took it back and bought another one. Same problem. After three tries, I just returned it and went elsewhere. Also, Walmart now imports a lot of their merchandise. I feel, with our economy the way it is with so many people out of work, I need to be supporting American goods and manufacturing. I always look to see where it was made before I buy it.

Walmart is my store; I buy the majority of my groceries, books, toiletries and such there and go there at least once a month; no stuff. I like the store but I also know it's not the only game in town; I have seen places that went out of business because of it; I feel let those who will be able to do business but in this economy that is not the case. I bought a dvd player there two weeks ago and took it back two days ago because it didn't do a thing for me. I bought a personal dvd player and it worked a few times, and went kaput on me. Made me mad cause I couldn't take it back either. other than that, I love the place.
