Do you try out the dresses you buy every time?

Most of the people have this habit, I am sure. But I hate this habit, I try avoiding going to trial room always and recently a friend of mine said to me that hidden cameras are fitted in the trial rooms of many famous shopping centres and to be very careful and tried to avoid using them. So I am just satisfied by the outlook of the garment I purchase and can easily judge how well it is going to fit on me. What do you do? Do you think it is very necessary to try out before you purchase? Have you ever thought that hidden cameras may be clicking you?

I usually try clothes before buying them, as I don't want to have a bad surprise when I try them at home and I find out that they don't fit me. Often when I try something in the fitting room I find out that it makes my body shape weird, so of course I don't buy it. I haven't thought about hidden cameras...

I try the clothes before buying them and I also see that the color and the pattern suits me. I have not experienced hidden cameras as such.

Yes I do try. I can't estimate if a dress fits me. I don't have problems with pants, I can check the size base on my neck. If it fits my neck, it will fits my waist, however, I don't know the explanation behind. It is difficult on me when it comes to dress, I need to fit it on the fitting room. I do check the glass or mirro though. I use my thumb to check on it. IF I don't see the end of my thumb, then the mirror is a two way mirror. I check on it everytimeI go to fit a dress,it never happened that I never see my thumb on the mirror , means I am safe to try the dress.

I don't like using th e changing rooms but sometimes I do, just because I know that I will be wearing the clothes soon or need them right away and wont be back to the store anytime soon if I have to return them. I have bought clothes before that I thought were going to fit and didn't and forgot to take them back, I just give them to someone else that might fit in them.

yogambal__64 yes I really do as I am a large size and am also 'short so I have to try on everything I see that I like. It might fit me in the right places but hang way too long. or be the right length and too tight in t he hips and and the shoulders. so the only way to get it right all over is to keep trying them on. If I look and find a hidden camera I go to the manager at once as its illegal to have camerasin the room where you try on clothes.

I for sure have to try on everything I pick out! Why is that because clothes that I like usually end up looking stupid on me. I hate it!! I can go into a dressing room with 10 different items and end up not getting any of them. It is so hard for me to find clothes that I like or I should say that fit me right and I think they look good on me. Especially now with all the new clothes that are coming into style I think they are absolutely UGLY!! I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing any of them. When I see them on bean poll looking girls they look fine but when you have a little pug in front they look not so good anymore. I think they need to come out with a style that looks good on everyone. Untill then dressing rooms here I come!

I've never thought about the fact that there could be cameras in the fitting rooms of retail outlets. That said, I am also not the kind of person that regularly tries things on before I will buy them. I do occasionally have to try things on when my size may have changed a little bit, but otherwise I know what size that I need to wear and I will go and pick out what I wanted to buy. If it turns out that it doesn't fit me correctly, then I will just return the item to the store after I've taken it home.

hi yogambal!^^ For me, I think it's necessary to fit a dress before you buy it. We can't really know if the dress fits us or if it looks good on us unless we try it. I myself always try the dress as much as possible before deciding whether to buy it or not. Sometimes, even if the line in the fitting room is long, I will wait no matter how long it takes just to try the dress. If i spend the money on the dress I want to make sure it's worth it. I don't like having regrets just because i bought a dress on an impulse or maybe because I was too lazy to fit it. I have thought that there may be hidden cameras in the fitting rooms of some malls but if I always think about it and get scared of being taped while fitting a dress, I wouldn't be able to buy a dress that looks good on me and I won't be getting my money's worth. It's like being paranoid of something that I don't really have a proof if it's really there.^^

Yes yogambal, I have also heard that they have the secret spy cameras in the dressing rooms of most of the shops. I do not know, whether they do it for safety reasons or for spying on some beautiful woman. I always try on the dresses before the purchases, but I really shudder when I think of all the woman who try their under garments also before purchasing them.

I do not try out every dress. I have heard about the cameras. I try to learn my size, and get that size. I also try to make sure the store has a return policy, so if it does not fit like I want I can take it back. Have a great day.

Hi yogambal! I always try on clothes before I buy them! I have to see how they fit so that I don't end up having to take them back to the store! The few times that I didn't try them on I did have to bring them back to the store because I didn't like the way they fit! I don't really think that it is legal to have cameras in the fitting rooms, but I'm not sure! But, since there is alot of theft, some stores may allow the cameras! But, it still wouldn't stop me from trying on the clothes even though I don't think it is right!

Yes I try on the dresses or pants I am going to buy before leaving the store. I have not heard that they have hidden cameras in the dressing rooms I have checked the room out and if they do is not that against the law. Most of the dressing rooms I use there is someone there to check you in and ask how many items you have to try on they give a certain color and you are only allow four items at a time anyway.

Hiya yogambal, Have I thought about it yes but it´s just that I have to try those Skirts on or it would mean me having to go backwards and forwards to Town again so I really hope no one does this where I go to buy. Come to think of it they might have Cameras in other places too.

hello! count me in because it's my habit. i think it's a good idea to try those dresses on because you need to know if you look good at it. sometimes the mannequin is just my opposite you know and the fit is different. after all fitting rooms are usually found in dress shops. like the others, i check myself in front of the full length mirror and turn around as well. i try on blouses before buying them, too when the salesclerk allow me. if i'm in a hurry and hasn't got enough time to try them on, i just ask the salesclerk if i could return or exchange it if it doesn't fit. so far i have just returned 1 item because it wasn't big enough for me. it was a pair of pants. there was a time when i thought of that hidden camera but i don't care anymore these days. if there are, i haven't found any. i think its best to try a dress before buying it specially if it costs you a lot of money and be satisfied for the purchase. happy mylotting!

I hate to try stuff on in the store. Usually I will buy them and try them on at home and if they don't fit take them back. If I can afford it I will buy 2 or 3 dresses, try them on at home, and keep the ones I like. I have heard about the cameras in the fitting rooms, but that's not why I don't use them.

Yes of course I do! I really do not think anyone will get a big thrill from looking at my old (70) carcass although I do keep myself in shape. I would never pay for anything if I was not sure it fitted me.

I once heard someone say that hidden cameras are fitted in trial rooms. That's really scaring, especially for girls. I always have the habit of trying out the dresses I buy in case it may not fit me, but the hidden camera thing seldom occurs to me. If there is such a thing, we have to be very careful about it. We can check the trial room before actually trying the dress out or we can choose some big and creditable shops to buy dresses instead of small shops.

Yes I try out them every time.I am not sure whether the dresses suit me.I better try them every time so that I don't have to come back if they didn't suit me.Some shops wont take the purchased things back.So better to try them in the shop itself.that is the reason why every time it takes lot of time for me to shop.

I always go to the fiiting room, b/c my body is a hard fit.. as a maater of fact i also try things on again when I get home to make sure I really like it. As for hidden camera's its illegal to put them in fitting rooms in the U.S. so I don't really worry about that.

Although I have also heared that some shops place cameras in trial room, such things have never happend on me. I also like to try the cloths before I purchase them. How do you know whether it match you well just by looking. I don't want to regret after buying them.
